Honestly would it realy matter about the money... It would be the two best foreigners against each other, it has the potential to be some of the best matches of Sc2. They are both extremly good at their respective races, this would be the matchs to watch the comercial value for Stephano and Naniwa both dictates that this has to happen. Weather there is money on the line does not really matter. This will be for the title of best outside Korea. There are more value in this title than 10k. This match should give code S status

Please please please let this happen while both of them are on top of their game, while Stephano looks indestructiable against Protos and Naniwa look undefeatable against Zerg.

what happens when an immovable object meets an unstoppable force?

I realy whant to know...

Naniwa's hardly undefeatable against Zerg. He's been knocked out of MLG Providence, MLG Winter, Blizzcon, Code A (3 times) and Dreamhack Winter by Zerg players.

Stephano clearly destroys foreign Protoss, but he's yet to prove himself vs Korean Protoss players who don't just let him do whatever he wants.

Funny how you cite Dreamhack Winter for Naniwa losing where he crushed Stephano.

I was thinking that when I started reading his post, lol. Yeah Stephano is very strong, but I doubt that he is unbeatable... I think Naniwa has a strong chance.
Why would you ever choose failure, when success is an option.

Has nothing at all to do with what I said.

Some guy was claiming both players are unbeatable in the match up. Which is just not true. PvZ has traditionally been Naniwa's worst matchup.

Yes but the sponsors could add to the pool.

Anyone who claims that either of these guys is unbeatable by the other is naive or a blind fanboy. It could go either way. I side with protoss though

Looking at how Naniwa totally dominated Stephano in Dreamhack winter despite such fantastic play makes me feel like this is gonna go Naniwa's way. If u haven't got a chance to watch those games, do search in on youtube, Naniwa played so fantastically. I dont know what a Z can do in those games. And everybody knows how hard ZvPs are these days, completely on Ps favour. I would say Naniwa's gonna take it.

I just realised. Stephano knows naniwas style, right? So this showmatch will be just like the last MLG: can naniwa get a FE. If so gg. So stephano will all in every game .

You have no idea what you're talking about.

Elaborate or don't waste posts. This is what the koreans did so the logic has ground.

Stephano is very confident in ZvP and almost never tries to punish FE with roach ling all in. To assume that he will "all in every game" is complete nonsense.

Some guy was claiming both players are unbeatable in the match up. Which is just not true. PvZ has traditionally been Naniwa's worst matchup.

Nani has also defeated incredably strong zergs, so it is really hard to say. But the point you make is still correct - Nani is hardly undefeatable. Same could be said about Stephano, to a lesser extent, and if matched against each other Nani V Stephano would be a really awesome match.

I like the idea of splitting it up over a couple days. That way the hype builds and the players get a chance to adjust mid competition.

We need TotalBiscuit for this.

He's going to be at IPL4... he can do it on his Shoutcast broadcast and get 50k viewers and since he's such a great guy he can give the proceeds to the winner so the players don't have to put up their own money.

TB is the man for this because he's ballsy enough to try it, and he's not afraid to try new things.

What the balls, you're trying to get me to put up $10k for this? O_o
