If they would wait for things that haven't even happend yet, I think we won't get to see the Documentary until August or even September, with all the Post-production included, they will have to make a cut at some point as there will always be tournaments with some guy from Liquid attending.

God I hate comments like that. Since when can't one complain just because something is free? Please..
I agree that there will always be stuff going on. Just release it and make another one if anything major has happened since the release of Documentary #1.

Having a liquid member winning Code S (or being in the finals) would be the biggest thing to happen to TL as a team, so I think delaying for Code S to finish makes a lot of sense. It's not some random tournament, it's the most competitive tournament in the world by far.

And then what happens if none of them even makes it to the finals? Should we then wait for the next MLG or next season of Code S? Come on..
Also, I highly doubt that it would higher the quality of the documentary, just because one of their players would make it to the finals in the greatest tournament there are. That would just be to show off the team, and not make an actual documentary about the team and competitive starcraft in general.
EDIT:
Of course I know that showing off the team is also one of the reasons to even making this documentary, but unless they really lack good content for the documentary, they should just get going and not wait for some of their players to do something big. They could just fill in at the end of the movie (example):
"Zenio later went on to win the GSL Season 2, and HerO once again rose to be the king of Dreamhack. The future for Team Liquid and eSport in general is looking very bright, even with major companies such as CBS and Red Bull entering the scene..."

I thought Hero and Taeja could meet before the final? If so that could be quite dramatic to capture on camera and add a lot of emotion to the documentry.

Then you release it after GSL? Talk about what went wrong, how HerO/Taeja felt after losing, etc. It doesn't always have to be wins for it to be decent content, happy endings are nice but not always realistic. Or just cut out the GSL bits entirely if they choose. If they believe they'll get good content from it there's no reason not to wait, it wouldn't delay the documentary by all that long and would be the perfect ending for the documentary imo.

There's always a new tournament with Liquid players in the forefront, they can't keep delaying forever.

You're speculating anyways, maybe the delay has other reasons.

I don't see why that's such a huge thing. They are just Koreans on a foreign team training in Korea every day, if a foreigner would reach the final I would agree but now? no

just chill out guys, it's their documentary. they don't owe us nothing, so they call the shots...

This is why you keep release dates vague, it's done when it's done.

You don't see why winning a GSL would be a huge thing for any team on the planet?
Um, okay.
PS. And TL isn't a "foreign" team, it's an international team. It's been that since the day they started a pro team.

I would still say they are a foreign team, since they aren't South Korean.

They refer to themselves as an international team.

It's a damn good job you're not the one making the documentary.
