Expect announcements soon like: we don't have enough footage of taeja so in the next big tourney all of liquid players will be there where we can shoot additional footage of taeja. This documentary will not be released before fall (maybe not even this year). I would say this is never ending story. It would be best if they released it as some sort of episodes. 50% of the doc. will be so outdated. EDIT: Didn't see that: On April 04 2012 01:23 IPA wrote: One of the TL mods already answered this in another thread. They were planning on taking footage at IPL4 anyway, so TaeJa's addition will not delay the film in any meaningful way. But i still stand by my post.

but people need to stop wasting their time over this, its not going to come out, and if it does, some of the footage is going to be so old, its not going to be interesting. They said it would come out in Febuary...it didnt...they said it would come out in april...well april is here and nearly gone still no sign of the documentary. They also really aren't keeping anyone posted in whats going on with it either. This has really been the only post about it since its announcement. the fact that team liquid are priding themselves on having a documentary come out soon and quickly is just bullshit lol. no offence team liquid I love you guys, but seriously sort this out.

The guy in charge of the TL documentary posted on Reddit recently that filming is done and they are editing into the final product, so it should be soon? I hope.

First off, nice first post. You clearly put some throught into it. Second of all, film production takes time. A lot of time. There is a reason that movies take years to come out. I don't think they are going to provide updates like "still editing" and a fake release date just to keep people "updated". Making demands to "sort this out" just sounds entitled. I am not even sure if Liquid is going to charge to see the film.

Well done. TL said they will have a product out, and don't. I think he has a right to be at least the little bit annoyed. On the other hand...why did they promise a deadline that to me seems really quite difficult to achieve? TL is sometimes pretty cool, but why not say they are working on a documentary and will have it done somewhere in spring/summer 2012; Instead of promising dates and having to back peddle each time something like this happens.

Lol. You know it takes a certain amount of entitlement to bitch about receiving a product that you didn't pay for or make any commitment toward whatsoever. I'm sure they intended to give a proper release date.

Yeah of course it won't come out. Why would they want to release a documentary they have spent months on? What a stupid idea, eh. They said the "end of April", that doesn't mean the middle of April, it means the end. How about you have some patience instead of making stupid, borderline troll posts.

*Would also like to say that I kind of like the idea of the documentary spanning over a long period of time. In my mind at least it would display a lot of change on the team and the e-sports scene in general, that a documentary on a shorter period of time would not show.
