You can't just say whatever you want and follow it up with "it was just a joke bro" to make it ok. This kind of thing has no place among (and I use this term loosely) professionals.

That's a naive comparison, you know it doesn't work.
If you post your "insults" viewable for thousands of people without any history of you and your friends actually being known as trolling friends AND your post doesn't contain just meaningless troll phrases, but also implicit critic, then yes, you do bring some "dislike" of certain aspects to the public.
What's the problem in accepting that? I don't even say it's generally wrong, but you cannot seriously think Ret posts such a parody out of the blue without thinking more than "lololol, no homo jokes, me so funny".

While this might be a bit strong as the initial post was clearly a joke (just really distastefully executed), I agree with this sentiment. Liquid standing behind it also kinda doesn't sit well. If Liquid wants to be a professional team, limits on this sort of stuff should be discussed.
Regardless what's done is done, but that doesn't mean a lesson can't be learned.

I think you can as long as most people recognize it as a joke and as long as you meant it as joke. Of course you have to look how the person you make fun of takes such things but in general i would say that a joke is always right and good. And in this case it obviously was a joke and if it wasn't i think it would be Rets reputation beeing damaged the most

Grubby kinda asked for it with that thread. I mean, nice that you are helping some kid out, but why announce it? As for Ret, pretty childish sense of humour. If I have to choose I prefer Grubbies mature way of acting, even if it's sometimes a bit too holy and stuck up.
