awesome amazingly cool news, made my week - Ret on the original Grubby post, before making this satirical blooper of a bad joke. Imagine if some random dude made this post... LOL it would have been rendered DEAD. The ret dude comes across as being jealous. Big deal, who cares? Grubby doesnt as he strolls to the bank, with miss fucking china (or whatever that stunner modeled as), a perfect hairline and firm physique. YO! ILL HAVE GRUBBY'S BABIUES | ||

People need to realize this game is just like any other sport. You can dislike and respect a player. For example I disliked IM_MvP but respected him as a skilled player. Look at things as an adult here, put whether or not Ret likes/dislikes grubby aside. Understand he respects him as a player but may not like him as a person - whether that's true or not doesn't matter. Ret pointed out the bullshit by reposting it. What if he wanted to flame on grubby and all his fans for not seeing the subtext. It's absolutely fine for him to do so he's a grown man and as people have said this is liquid's forum they can post what they want. You shouldn't lose respect for him or think he's immature or get offended. In fact the only person that should be mad is Grubby because he got called out. Do you think basketball and football players all like eachother? Yeah... | ||

Grubby is deservedly one of the most popular and respected RTS players in the history. I've never followed WC3, but I still like Grubby as he's always shown good attitude and I don't remember him ever being involved in silly BM incidents. His thread though, just made me think "What did I just read..." "Think of my opponents, who have unwittingly sharpened my steel by grinding me on the whetstone of defeat. Think of all the people who have helped me, for no other reason than their passion for the game, or their fandom of me. Helping me with opportunities, coaching, game advice, and anything under the sun - often without having a clear benefit from it."    I don't know guys, maybe it's just me. | ||

Ret's post is an edged parody of Grubby's post and of course such a parody provides means to express a certain statement of critique. Obviously, he doesn't plainly state "I dislike Grubby" and nobody says he thinks so, but (without any judgement) it's impossible to assume Ret had NOTHING in mind but telling a context-less joke. I don't care about this joke or the underlying oppinion, however I think it's stupid to post a clear parody and then state it was nothing but a joke without any meaning. Come on, Grubby's post was somewhat awkward as well and I don't even think it's bad to point at that, but posting a thread containing the phrase "want to the community to think I'm awesome and kiss my ass" and then relying on "just joking" is ridiculous. | ||
