It makes sense that GSL has a lq stream always. I dont think it is worth it to pay 20 bucks, i can watch assembly, where there are many great players that i am personally looking forward to, and i can watch the MLG the week after, because they have a really nice VOD system. We understand that many third party websites have a "free" method to see their video content, as well as a 'premium' membership service that allows for speedier viewing. For clarity, please note that as long as the website that hosts your Production provides a free method to allow viewers to see the Production, Blizzard Entertainment will not object to your Production being hosted on that site, regardless of the site's "for pay" premium service plans. Key words here being 'speedier' MLG says they will release the VODS a week later.

Dallas 2010 was a disaster = everyone who bought the hd pass got a refund same hd pass price = better quality and quantity of content membership = less to watch individual event + increase in quality and quantity of content as above Do you still believe this model that is presented now will come through ? I'll wait and see how this develops, but even if this price stays - I will buy it and watch to VODs MLG has my support. how much would mlg have to charge for you to abandon this argument?

It's 20 bucks for a weekend of entertainment from a source that you KNOW provides quality! What a bunch of ungrateful twats. "Everything online should always be free! Let us have everything for nothing! ME ME ME ME ME! I only support eSports when it's spoon-fed to me at no cost!" E-sports will never grow with this community of free-loaders. Not even willing to pay $1 dollar an hour... lol It's astonishing to me that you think it's fine to call people selfish cunts who don't want to spend $20 on a product. Some people just don't have a spare $20, have some empathy for others instead of being so judgmental.

With that said, I feel like I would be more willing to pay for content if I was sure the quality would be good. Why pay for qualifiers for championship pool play when the actual pool play+championship is free? Why pay for a studio produced 32 man tournament when their 'studio-produced' qualifiers were of atrociously low quality? I'm sure widespread PPV events would be good for the 'growth of esports', but I'm not sure this is how the first step towards PPV needs to be. On February 14 2012 10:35 STDfan wrote: I don't understand why they are paying for the players' trips and having them play live at the same location if there will be no live audience... Also, I think this is because they want to create something with a really high production value. The problem is the only sample we've been given of their studio production was their qualifiers which were, simply put, bad.

Because of my work schedule I can't watch the whole event via live stream so I'd have to say 30$ would be the limit for me if it meant only vods If I was able to watch the whole event - up to 40$ depending on players
