It is always sad when a player gets dropped, and I fear that it may be a hard hit for Axslav and Strifecro's progaming careers, but EG could not justify keeping players that did not perform. A pity though...

Axslav is smart. He can do whatever he wants and be successful. Gl to him and strife.

edit: I`m a long time fan (WC3 ^.^) and Axslav entertained me so often, that I can`t even count it. Even when he lost games, his playstyle was so good and he made strats work, nobody thought would work. That alone is a useful talent toi have.

Such a big fan of Axslav's, hope everything works out for him. I'll be surprised if another big-name team doesn't snap him up, he's got so much potential.

Good job Eg... Cutting the veteran's....

How are they even verterans? Just because they were there for a long time?
Teams don't care about that kind of stuff, its strictly business. People need to realize that.
I don't see why they are forced to keep players like Axslav and StrifeCro and pay them a decent salary while they didn't turn in any results that were note worthy.

Wow, I understand why, but it still sucks. I hope it doesnt hurt them much - they are great players.

LZGamer stays but Axlav goes? I don't how I feel about that, but best of luck to Axlav and Strifecro both (even if they leave the scene). Also best of luck to Machine and Demuslim, with the rate of foreign teams signing Koreans EG might have the roster to let them go like this next year.

demuslim wont be going anywhere anytime soon, he has done decent at mlgs and at European events.

Yeah, but he's had some inconsistency. Stuff like how he was supposed to go to Korea but it fell apart. Obviously he's really good, but EG seems to care more about how good a player is currently rather than their potential. Axslav was getting pretty good, but they still let him go.

They have Incontrol and LZGamer who aren't kept around because they can win tournaments, and then in terms of Starcraft ability Machine is one of the better foreigners (imo) but he's now the weakest pure player on EG. They're not really trying to build talent, just buy it. It's a little disappointing to see long standing players leave is all.

That said, I'll still be rooting for EG.

Not that I think EG is going to remove Demuslim, I think its exhausting to root for the guy too. Hes incredibly inconsistent with attending events and always seems to have a reason preventing him from going.

Hes like a sports athlete with a lot of talent but is always physically injured leaving them unable to actually play.

Its sad to see them go, but with power houses like Puma, JYP, Huk, and IdrA it was only a matter of time before EG started cutting the weaker players. Although Axslav has been doing fairly well recently, I wouldnt be surprised if he took some top finishes in the near future. I hope He and strifecro find some good teams to join.

I was at first tempted to write something akin to what a lot of people are saying about TSL these days, but I decided against it.

Always sad to see a player leave a team, especially core members like these. I, however, can see why EG made the decision they did. Best of luck to EG and both Axslav/StrifeCro in the future.

Hahaha wtf this situation is nothing like whats going on with TSL right now. Like the poster said above me you should probably have left that bit out.

Hence why I chose not to post it

Also, for every other reply to that post, people are free to see me as they wish and say what they wish about me. I am, however, a much bigger Team Clash fanboy than I am for TSL. I was merely saying the thought crossed my mind for the sake of my own personal amusement. Like I said, I quickly decided against it as this is a serious matter as it would be for any team losing a player. (Well, except maybe SunCow and mTw)

Definitely a fair point. I'm assuming that Axslav and strifecro (both more successful than Lz) wanted new contracts that allow them to travel to all big events while Lz was less demanding with his contract details.

You probably should have left that part out as well. Definitely not a good idea to compare the two situations since people are already labelling you as a "blind fanboy."

Well he kind of is.

EG is the one of the best if not the best foreign team. TSL is one of the worst Korean teams and they're dropping players everywhere.
