I see what you did there

Seriously though, incontrol won't be leaving anytime soon, we all love him.

Too bad, but there's currently a lot of deadweight on EG and something had to change.

Strifecro is literally practicing with EG right now.
It's not clear if he is in the house, but he is playing vs demuslim and talking with everyone on stream as if nothing has happened.

Well I can understand EG's side, especially performance-wise. If iNcontroL weren't a such a pillar in the community... I wonder if he would still be there.........

Yeah, good idea...
Wtf is this? Getting rid of two very likeable and hard working players, just so you can buy another Korean off his team?

Great mentality there...

Very, very little ROI on Axslav and StrifeCro. Much more ROI on players who actually qualify for tournaments on a regular basis.

Maybe clearing the team for more korean signings?

because it says right in the article that eg decided to part ways with them, not the opposite way around.

LZGamer stays but Axlav goes? I don't how I feel about that, but best of luck to Axlav and Strifecro both (even if they leave the scene). Also best of luck to Machine and Demuslim, with the rate of foreign teams signing Koreans EG might have the roster to let them go like this next year.

demuslim wont be going anywhere anytime soon, he has done decent at mlgs and at European events.

Demuslim is absolutely not going anywhere :p

I think Axslav could become so much better player if he could just improve his apm and mechanics, oh well practice makes perfect I guess...

You think he didn't know his contract wasn't getting renewed some time ago?

GL in the future

they were never any good at sc2 2v2 lol. they won 1 league using 1 abusive cheese, as soon as someone watched a reply of them playing they instantly stopped winning. infact EG stopped using them as a pairing for things like the egmc.

after hearing all that people like idra and incontrol said about how EG was building itself im really suprised by this. they had atleast heavily implied that EG was happy with their performance, and happy to have an unoffical B team/bigger roster for things like moral, team training, smaller leagues. now the article specifically says EG dropped them, they didnt ask to leave. kinda shocked.

this leaves machine and incontrol as the last non superstar players on eg. incontrol obviously safe as a huge PR guy and team captain position but i gotta wonder what their plans are for machine. he attends some smaller american lans and was at CES for them, so maybe they want to model him on incontrol as another guy to help market sponsors with? who knows.

seems like EG has dropped clan support for starcraft 2 (lol funny bnet joke!!!) they seem to be trying to up the 'professionalism' by being a full on team akin to a 'real' sport rather than a sponsored clan that most esports teams actually are.

Some people have an odd definition of "superstar".
As far as foreign eSprots is concerned, Incontrol is one of the biggest superstars we have, he just isn't a SC2 champion yet.

dude, no trolling, no sarcasm, that's not cool man!! There's no need to make fun of him. He has provided what he could to the community!! And we all love him for who he is!!

Yeah, I wonder what the housing situation is now. Are they just friends living there and contributing to rent? I can't imagine Beyond gaming being okay with sponsoring those two as well (unless there was some sort of contract involved.)

I was at first tempted to write something akin to what a lot of people are saying about TSL these days, but I decided against it.

Always sad to see a player leave a team, especially core members like these. I, however, can see why EG made the decision they did. Best of luck to EG and both Axslav/StrifeCro in the future.

You probably should have left that part out as well. Definitely not a good idea to compare the two situations since people are already labelling you as a "blind fanboy."

A blind fanboy with insider access? Anyone labeling Virgil that is not paying attention.

Or maybe people would just say, the players TSL has lost skillwise is not really comparable to the players EG lost.

Too bad for Axslav, he was really looking a lot better during these last couple months. I hope he and StrifeCro find another team. I'm also looking forward to seeing who else EG picks up, hopefully another good foreigner

A lot of the times, no, he wouldn't know.
If that's why everyone is so casual about it, then kudos to EG for having such a well run organization.

Sad. When do we say the house isn't worth it? Essentially it will just be Incontrol and Machine living there, once Demu goes to Korea.
