But this is the TL forums and people are going to over react to everything. His play will not drop at all.

Nowadays skype and other programs make it alot easier to talk over the internet. Being at home and talking to the person you''e practicing against is just as good as being right beside them But this is the TL forums and people are going to over react to everything. His play will not drop at all. Not really it isn't. It's actually completely different to live in an environment full of SC2 related stuff 24/7, compared to just logging in and voice chatting through the internet. Plus the team house has the coach, which is completely lost when training from home AND when you're in a team that has no real coach at all. I dunno, I insist, unless SK and MC have something special prepared, I expect MC's level to drop dramatically in the coming months. It's obviously not going to be instantaneous, but he's gonna be WAY behind on metagame and strategy development, and in important matches, without a proper team behind, he's gonna get hard countered with specific builds against him to which he won't be ready.

I would agree but both Nestea and MVP are to my knowledge not in the MVP house and aren't exactly behind the curve. MC seems a popular guy so unless expressly forbidden to I can't imagine his former teammates would be averse to training with him, as long as it isn't for matches against oGs players

The lack of a coach is what is the biggest loss here. People obviously will still train with him, but it's a different mindset.

Btw, how good are the coaches compared to the players. I mean, their understanding of the game has to be on par with the players so...

Either way i think SK is going to buyout more koreans to practice with him and maybe make him captain of a team house. Why not when you got funds like SK?

This happened in WC3 too, so it's just history repeating itself. The scene got big, foreign organization buying Koreans to play for them as merc, next thing you know, serious Korean organization (wemadefox and the like) jumping in and buy the Koreans back. From WC3 perspective, top players' skill are not going to go down, they still practice with the same people (most of) People need to regconize that SC2 works differently than BW. In BW, everytime you read the winner interviews, players only thank people who are on the same tea (A team, B team but still the same team). In WC3, and now SC2, winners usually thank people from different teams/clans. SC2 is more "global" than BW, so stuffs like this will happen more and more.

IM house tour video on youtube, both MVP & NesTea are there. I dunno if they spend all their practise time at the house, if they don't the difference with their situation and MC's is they have a teamhouse to go to when its necessary. SK probably have something in the works for MC (if he wants it). Hopefully so coz a team house environment is a really good thing.
