Type announces Holmes Place as sponsor and creation of Japanese Roster

[image loading] [image loading]

Today we are delighted to announce our new, and very dear to us, sponsor: Holmes Place.
As well, we are taking this opportunity to announce the creation of our Japanese Roster.

Our New Sponsor, Holmes Place:
Holmes Place is a high quality Gym provider around Europe, their slogan is "One life, live it well".
After looking for a Gym for our players in Germany, we found that Holmes Place was the best fit for them. Both ourselves and Holmes Place believe that the key to successful life in the modern times we live in resides in keeping a strong balance of body and mind. Starcraft II, very much like our modern jobs and lives, requires a very high level of concentration, endurance and confidence that one finds when keeping a good and regular physical training. Holmes Place professionalism, trainers and high quality never cease to offer us the much appreciated Gym time Type members take twice a week.

Our current training at Holmes Place is:
TypeLex, our team owner, enjoys bi-weekly box training as well as a weight lifting routine.
TypeDBS and TypeReaL have been focusing on endurance and weight lifting, keeping a balanced muscles training.
TypePhoeNix has been focusing on endurance and relaxation, running and rowing followed by some time relaxing at the Sauna.
TypeSuN enjoys weight lifting and focuses on balanced muscles training both at Holmes Place and at home in Austria.

This is Holmes Place's first step into eSports so please join us in welcoming them into the eSports sponsors community. We look forward the ongoing results that the trainings our players (as well as managers!) are getting at Holmes Place and would like to thank them for all the support they have given us.

You can learn more about Holmes Place on their websites:

Japanese Roster:
Type is committed to developing Starcraft II and eSports around the world. After spending time talking to the Japanese community, we found that a Japanese roster would be an excellent way to grow our team as well as enter this exciting eSports market.
After meeting everyone in Japan last November, we are happy to confirm and announce the following roster:

TypeNemuke / Terran / Player
[image loading]
TypeNemuke is a Terran player from Japan and a strong member of Type. He has been playing RTS at high level since 2004 where he became Japan's top Age of Mythology player. He then switched to Age of Empires III for which he reprensented Japan at WCG Cologne '08. in 2009 and 2010 he took part in both Korean and Chinese IEF as pro Warcraft III player.
With the arrival of Starcraft II, he quickly decided to make the switch and became the Japanese representative at the ESWC '11 in Paris.
He is now in full practice with the rest of the Type team aiming to become one of the world's best Starcraft II player.
You can follow TypeNemuke on:

TypePSiArc / Terran / Player

TypePSiArc is our second Terran player from Japan.
He joined Type through winning the Type Japan cup organized to give a spot in the Type roster. PSiArc has been playing RTS since 2002 and, with the release of WoL, decided to become a Pro gamer.
He has since then been a top, if not the best, player in Japan winning many 1st places in Japanese tournaments.

TypeSugeo / Manager
[image loading]
TypeSugeo is our new manager running Japanese operations, he is the man behind www.sc-times.net as well as a great Japanese Starcraft caster.
He started sc-times.net in 2006 and has since been interviewing for the Japanese media pro games like Yo "BoxeR" Hwan. He has covered the IEF 2009, worked with NHK on their Korean Pro-gamers TV program.
Recently, he has been casting the WCG 2010 qualifier and the SC2 e-Sports Japan cup in 2011.
Sugeo helped us making Type Japan a reality, his passion for Starcraft and eSports has been driving us to our full belief in the Japanese team and we are very much looking forward to our collaboration starting with his managing of Type Japan.
You can follow TypeSugeo on:

The Japanese players are already part of our training schedule, incorporated the rest of the team as well as our partners. The end goal being for them to take part in the Code A qualifier in South Korea and compete in the GSL as well as represent Japan at WCG.

We would like to give a special thanks to Matsujun for his strong support, he is the caster behind the TwitchTV Japanese cups. Be sure to not miss on his next events by following him on TwitchTV: http://www.twitch.tv/matsujun

We're going to focus on Korea as well as WCG.
With their level getting higher, we will look at them joining our house in Germany and participate in more tournaments around Europe
