I know that mabye this is not the correct thread to talk abuot pomotion but... do you think someone whit this account can be promoted to plat in season 5 ??? http://www.sc2ranks.com/eu/2256706/Doganaws Probably not unfortunately, sc2ranks shows all the top gold league players having 800+ points. You probably need to be somewhere around there (assuming you used all your bonus pool). http://www.sc2ranks.com/ranks/eu/gold

And you didn't downvote shak and taldarim where taking a third is next to impossible ZvP and attacking into the natural a pain in the arse? But you did downvote xel naga caverns because it has the exact same problems, I guess?

I dont know what league u play, but my opponents build their 3rd base at minute 4:30 - pretty safely. Im protoss, my vetos will be: Metalopolis (for zergs christ), XelNaga (too short), Arid Plateau (the natural looks like a big joke for protoss to take)

Just watch usual ZvPs on Shak where the zerg gets a very quick third. I recommend korean games though as they show the full potential of abusing this. Personally, I veto'd xel, taldarim and shak because of this. I hate losing!>: Thinking about letting taldarim go though because taking the 4th instead of the third isn't nearly as dangerous on certain positions as on shak and I need another veto for valley. But as you can see, people have different opinions.

forge expand for protoss on both maps: + Show Spoiler + ![]() ![]() i think Entombed Valley is definitely Terran map, siege positions good as Altarim. Entombed Valley: PvT > T favored with siege tank timings and positioning. PvZ > i think zerg favored because its pretty easy to taking 3rd. TvZ > terran favored imo! Arid Plateu hmm...i think this map is not good for zerg playes ![]()

My problem with FFE is that as far as I can see it, you need 3 canons to stop roach agression. In the pictures you provided, they can pick off the cyber core (gg) or the gateway (and run into your main) pretty much uncontested. Also, that picture has 2 artosis pylons in it. I think you have the titles of entombed and arid mixed up on the two pictures.

The maps right now are garbage. At best you can take 3 bases (and it certainly requires destroying rocks). The maps are all early game zerg favored. The maps are stale and havent been changed in about 3 seasons ![]()
