Anyways, like other people say, you probably shouldn't have chosen a picture that makes here look naked. She is a good pickup, though, considering she already knows some of your team and she is fairly high level.

If she improves drastically and can compete on some sort of level with other progamers, then I will eat my hat. If she changes role and performs another use for the team, such as practice partner or something, then I will eat my hat. But until then, the hat stays on my head.

Ive never heard of this team before, and this is definatly not the right way to promote them... thread titles like this invalidate female gamers everywhere. Man how do you not know cArn?

Most people in the thread seem to think if they join a team they should be winning MLG or something, but after the success of the Zowie Divina Girls tournament, im sure there will be more female only events, and seeing as the female sc2 player pool is small, theres a greater chance a girl who is on a good and known team will get chosen for events like this.

There shouldn't be any female only events. What's the point? Male and female players are on even ground. That's like having separate male and female chess tournaments. Makes no sense.

Thats how i think Starcraft should be.

I think this in fact promotes and reinforces the already rather strong sexism in the scene. Some ones gender should not even be considered... I would not expect to recieve an email at work saying 'Publicity department has a new member of staff (she is a girl)' because that would be ridiculous. I just think if she is a really talented player who does well in tournaments etc her gender is neither important or relevant. However if she is bad (as some people here are suggesting) then putting her on the team is a publicity stunt and is damaging. Well said, I can see the point you're making is sound logic. Maybe they are going to set up a separate girls sC2 League in the future Anyways gratz on picking up a talented female SC2 player Esahara
