he's smart, once all the big koreans switch the sc2 climate will be very different and almost impossible for a foreigner to compete, make money while you can

He is very uncertain, so either decision (quitting or staying) is possible.

I don't think BW players will dominate that hard (yet )-

Everyone is sharing their strategies in this interview...

Can't they just read this interview and know what their opponent is up to tomorrow...

A bit dangerous...

Can you trust the information when it's so easily available to you? Often times telling your opponents what you are going to do means they are going to prepare for the opposite.

i really dont understand why stephano would quit

The guy has an open spot in Med school waiting for him, it would be kinda dumb for him to turn that down in favor of something as volatile as Starcraft.

woot stephano?

MVP just outclassed him.

MVP's startegy was awesome,totally anti-ling style.

bo1 and a build order win is outclassing now?

It was not just some build order win.

but great game sense and decision making by Mvp. If you are so good to see that, you can check it out.

Yeah, it makes the more deserving player win, and that's the way I want it. If I'm not good enough, I don't wanna win.

I love this about Nani, he doesn't want some fluke win or to skate by he wants to be able to say he earned something and stand proudly by that. I don't honestly like his chances in the blizzard cup but I think he has a long and bright future ahead if he can stay out of trouble.

I am so looking forward to Nestea vs Leenock, batte of zerg monsters strats vs sheer willpower who will win! It's also good to hear Nestea looking forward to attending more foreign tournaments this year attempting no doubt to catch up to MVP in prizemoney and titles.

Leenock is filled with adorableness and determination.

Are you suggesting MVP isn't better than Stephano? o.O

admittedly, I had a little trouble deciphering Stephano's accent while transcribing the interviews... so I choose to omit parts of his answers where I would have been making ridiculous guesses. Was on a time limit, so didn't want to spend too much time re-asking Q's

Next time, ask him in french or get him to answer in french, we frenchies are good translators!

Thanks for the interviews!

If this is Blizzard Cup and Blizzard does al sort of cool things, like letting TL interview and stuff, why isn't it featured more prominently on their own sites... makes me wonder :/

Stephano may be a great player but I really don't like his attitude, so he is doing all this just for the money not because he has a passion for gaming and winning? Well, perhaps he is just saying it...

Why do people see everything in black and white, lmao. I don't see in what way he outclassed stephano. Mvp came prepared with the better build and got a nice early advantage with the fake 2rax pressure. Better player won for sure, why does that have to mean he outclassed his opponent?

Interesting to see that Naniwa and Stephano don't really trust the Koreans/can't get practice time with them. I also remember IdrA saying that when he lived in Korea, 99% of his practice was on ladder. Then of course there's the BW history of this type of thing. I wouldn't mind hearing names of which Koreans are sharing replays or refusing to practice with foreigners living in their house as it's pretty shameful.

Ok, why did he reveal that? I can't get it.

Behind that innocent smile and pudgy face is a brain wired for deception. He'll be going for macro games, I bet.

Or he knows that 'early game build' is still incredibly vague for ZvZ :D

Excellent interviews, thanks a lot for conducting and posting them!

NesTea-Nani will be interesting! I think NT still has a burning desire to curbstomb him, whatever he says about water under bridges.
woot!
