This is most definitely true but that doesn't mean it can't be done. While it is true he can't watch over their shoulders all the time, luckily all you need these days is Skype and remote access to go through a reply with somebody. Having an analytical guy to systematically analyze your replays with can be a great help in seeing and improving your weaknesses. Or going over the replays of your next opponent to analyze his play style / weaknesses for that matter. On top of that a coach can provide a lot of support / comfort when he's around on the live tournaments (aside from talking with you about your last / next game obviously). He can take care of a lot of little things so you as a player don't need to think about them and can fully focus on your next match. So yeah although it's a lot harder as in Korea, if you have a team that accepts such a coach, he could provide additional value imo. If it is enough to validate this decision we will just have to wait and see.

Good move though. Gosu is getting immensely stronger every time they announce something.

Shame really, the same way that im sure geoff would be doing as good as he did at 2011 dallas if he didnt do that stint in casting

It was GODLIKE. Surely we're not the only ones who applaud his decision to become a coach... but are also disappointed that we'll never see ultimate 21 minute timings again T.T
