They are overhyped as a team and their players are hyped to the skies except HuK who actually deservs the hype he gets because he have taken the tough road in Korea to be the player he is today. It certainly can't be a Korean team. At least not yet. Maybe in a few years when they've acquired a few more skilled Korean players. But really EG has to be a rival to someone. Liquid sure ain't fitting the bill right now. Might as well go after one of the top EU teams. To steal the a line from MLG (circa 2005ish): "I love this game." With who? If you ask me they are average foreign team, and EG didn't win not one single team tournament know to date. These are the two top foreign teams, up there with Liquid, Empire, and maybe coL.MvP (at least if you count the MvP players too). Mouz has the most balanced line-up, with every player being phenomenal, whereas EG has a lot more players, but their top players are great.

EG has to pay all that money and poach our players and they still only barely keep up with the results. That's pretty much a textbook definition of "not fitting the bill". They should indeed aim for someone on their own level. Complexity would be a good choice, they're the same kind of team anyway.

Both teams have very strong players yet EG's players have won more tournaments overall, that is pretty much how I look at it.

I was going to disagree but then I thought about it and now I agree. They're extremely top-heavy. They are an average foreign team in a weird sense, and it's arguably the biggest reason why they don't win alot of team tournaments. Mouz has a strong line up of 4-5ish people who are pretty good, whereas EG only really has 3, but those 3 are amazing and work to counteract the not so amazing rest of EG. I'd put EGs top 3 above Mouzs top 4-5 (even though yes i'm aware hasu beat huk in one bo5), but they get dragged down by the others in the team. I don't mean they shouldn't be proud of huk and puma, but cmon It's a joking rivalry... that was made up to create drama... Do people not realize that? Rivalry is good for sports, EG and Mouz are just helping esports by doing stuff that's just for fun lol. It's not like this is the same that Idra and Kas have, or Any pro and deezer. lol this is more not serious witty banter for the lulz

![]() I really enjoyed the back and forth of the two teams on twitter, than i saw this thread... There are people in here who either take this too seriously and think they BM eachother and some who take this way to far and trying to compare the Teams while praising one and shitting all over the other one. Why can't both teams be great? Why can't we just enjoy the twitter conversation?

Effectively downplaying this whole thread and twitter exchange to nothing more than EG & Mouz fanboys getting "out of hand." But hopefully not, cause I'd like to see this rivalry grow. Ideally Idra should be on the next episode and he should talk about the Mouz/EG twitter "war" and help grow this rivalry instead of downplaying it. Make it big. Make it epic. But really how sad is this? NASL Season 2 Finals are going on and this is one of the hottest topics on TL right now. This is about the NASL 2 finals, or at least that's it origin. And also the only thing going on now is the HoN Semifinals, which i doubt that many tl'ers are watchíng.
