I think you'll get easily used to it; roaches are in the game and nobody complains about that giant bug... Queen is very arachnoid-like and no problem either.
I didn't know virtual insects on screen could cause symptoms of phobia... And I mean, Zergs are supposed to be like that

That was the first thing i thought when i watched the preview of the swarm host.
I have no problem when i see it though but i totally understand the OP the why it would be better to change the design

This ^^. That is the problem now a days. People will actually think to them selfs "Hey i don't like holes i guess i might have this". Without looking into anything what so ever. I wouldn't want a spider climbing on my chest or around/on my feet does that mean i have a spider Phobia? Its all in the person's head.

Hey, you can "not like this" - that's perfectly fine. You can even find it disgusting. That's exactly the effect Blizzard is going for with every Zerg unit (not sure why anyone would find Banelings "cute", the artwork and actual in-game model is pretty disgusting).

Just don't call this a phobia and try to argue from a standpoint of medical need or some shit.

I think its more the fact that holes just suck. I mean really what are they used for.

1. Gardening
2. Burying bodys/garbage

Well ya those are the only things that come to mind for me. Neither too appealing.

Well, I remember one time when I was a kid, I saw a strange triangular-shaped pattern of air bubbles in the ice. I completely freaked out and tried to smash it (but couldn't) until eventually having to run away. I'm fairly sure that since all these incidences occurred before I knew anything about it that this was a preexisting condition. It happens every so often to me, though I can agree that it may not really be a "phobia" simply because it doesn't "interfere with my normal routine".

Edit: Oh, and while the closeup of the SH creeps me out, the unit in the game doesn't seem to bother me, so I'm not really worried about it.

Hmmm, I think if you really have this phobic disorder, and it's preventing you from playing your favourite game, you should get psychiatric treatment. It's the same with all phobias. (This regardless whether it's a described phobia or not, you can actually have a phobia to nearly anything)
