(If you haven't seen the VoD of that series I recommend it; it was extremely close) Assembly however received very little compared to it's prize pool coverage because it was awkwardly timed at the same weekend as the EU Blizzcon tournament and very close after MLG Anaheim. His run through the HomeStory Cup also was good but didn't receive a lot of attention as it was HuK week back then. :p * His 'issue' with Complexity (a North American team) didn't exactly help either. To the uninformed eye it was an unknown European player who was supposedly very good but that we've never seen who signed a contract with Complexity and then suddenly backed out: wtf is this kid thinking? All things considered while this EU-NA is quite silly it can be understood when thinking about it for a while. At any rate I'll be looking forward a lot to this MLG to see how Stephano does, I personally see him as the most likely foreigner to win the tournament. | ||

I can only speculate that future IPLs will have better sign-ups as players and teams look to associate themselves with IPL. It also helps MLG that high finishes gets a GSL spots. It goes to show that money isn't everything. Just look at NASL  . You got teams pulling out of NASL but you got people spending their own money to travel to MLG just to play in the open bracket. It's such a stark contrast between MLG/IPL and NASL. | ||
