Ok so enough of that about this unit. I don't think it will come from a roach look at the head and how it is shaped with the mouth looking much more like a hydralisk and the large plate coming off the back of the head is shaped like a hydralisk. However it is also shaped a lot like a reach with those legs, I would not be surprised if you make this unit by morphing together both like an archon. Oh and it probably will be the new siege unit they were talking about. Maybe half burrowing leaving the shell on its back exposed and gaining increased armor while in that position. Very cool possibilities!

A:maybe tier1 with considerably low damage and medium range, else it would be overkill, also fast. B:maybe tier2+ with high damage for positional play, would be slow. leaning more to A, cuz i think blizz releases lower tier units first.

If it looks like a creep tumor on the outside, though, then what part of it attacks? Hrm. my conclusion is that the shield on the back is infact a sort of tumor, obviously with different graphics or spreding creep will be a madness. But maybe the opponent see a normal tumor, and has to scan to reveal the unit. The attack is an artillery thing, burrowed. Well that's my idea, maybe im totally wrong lol. Seems cool concept.
