Pretty odd. Sase is leaps and bounds ahead of the other players in the team. Hopefully it means he will be sent to events but I am a bit perplexed as I don't see how this resolves Sases practice situation in Korea.

He has said he wouldn't join any foreign team even if they gave him millions, if it ment he had to leave Korea. So I assume he will stay there, but the GOM-house is the worst possibly place to practice Starcraft.

As many before me have said, I diddnt see that one coming! I hope this team makes a name for themselves in the future.

Its AWSOME that they will send Sase to orlando. Makes me really really happpy and makes up a little bit for the fact that Naniwa is going to be absent.

Why is that?

It's been stated in several interviews by Naniwa, see for example

You basically sit in a corridor with your computer, and people are running around behind you at all times, talking, screaming, making noise, running into you etc. There is no peace and quiet and you cannot relax and just focus on the game. Not to mention that you get no practice partners (Sase only plays ladder).

Quantic could sponsor his stay in a Korean teamhouse.

i can only see this truly benefiting SaSe if they fly him to foreign tournaments and find him a KR teamhouse to stay in/practice with. Gom House is not a long term solution

I doubt that, theres only a few people there.

He didn't say It was bad, but its basically the same as sitting at your house practicing. Theres no benefit from It. No pro's around you, no schedule or hours you have to put in per day.. etc.

He has said on his streamchat he doesn't really like the GOM-house as a practice environment. Probably for the reasons listed here.

Both naniwa and sase can attest to that the code a casters also living in the gomhouse makes it a bad practice enviroment. Sase've said so multiple times on stream and nani in the interview conducted by drewbie.

Ok, so this decision has to be all about money/sponsoring... that or Quantic has planned some major moves in the near future, I fail to see what SaSe can learn from sharing ideas/practicing with these guys.

i suspected that it was going to be a foreign team, but one more established in SC2. I suppose they will be suitable as long as they allow him to stay and train in Korea while sponsoring him to travel to big events such as MLG. Sase is really improving in Korea and I think it is best that he stays there for a while longer.
