"If you dont know whats going on, then is probably about money"
Puma did it for money, he didn't receive a salary in TSL, just like how huk joined EG(nothing wrong).
IM recruited him, because they saw potential and also maybe due to him not having a team(pity).

Wow, awesome! IM's coach is freaking amazingly talented to help support players like Nestea/MVP/Loisira, so I'm sure he must have seen something very special in Fenix to sign him.
GL!

What the hell? Source please. Because from the press release from Fnatic managers I read NO ONE said that. Don't bash Fnatic only because you are missinformed.
edit - this is the press release I refer : HERE What's your source?

Funny thing is, you were the first person I thought of when I read that post about the four horseman... Goddamnit, Rayansaki.

Also, does anybody know if he can play for IM in the teamleague now? I know that FruitDealer and TesteR weren't allowed to, but at the same time Fenix was only a "mercenary" (or whatever they call it) on F. United, so now that IM is his official team maybe he'll get to play for them. I'd much rather watch him then watch IM's B Teamers that they usually play.

I bet fnatic is wondering to themselves if they screwed up badly by not resigning fenix, if IM were to pick him up.. big congrats to fenix!

YES!!!!! Good luck fenix and I hope one day you will rival HuK/Jinro

lol, who exactly is sam ?.
Anyway, saying that there are tons of better terrans in the foreigner scene isn't quite a point, are there really any other good terran outside of Korea that aren't part of a team (Signed contract)?. Besides Fenix is already there in Korea.
I think they hired fenix because of his dedication, he is really smart and he is a really good player (remember MLG Columbus open bracket). And MAYBE (just maybe) there is something going on to hype the Latinamerican starcraft 2 scene.
So chill out guys, today he proved he CAN beat really good players. I hope he really keeps doing well. I'm very happy for him.

Gratz.. with IMMvp on his team.. omg he'll be a godly foreigner.

"If you dont know whats going on, then is probably about money" Koreans to foreigner teams: more money to be had. Puma, Hero weren't even in code A so they were most likely not getting paid at all, just provided for. Rain wanted to move abroad to study.
Fenix to IM: a link to the foreigner scene. Like the Koreans, he probably doesn't get much of a salary, so its not exactly a huge expense for IM.

GL Fenix. You looked amazing!

this is bigger news to me than Huk to EG rofl

A personal view of the subject. That's not in the press release and it's not a statement from Fnatic. Do I need to go on?
Oh. Who is Sam??

I knew Fenix was good, but I didn't know he was so good that one of the top Korean teams would sign him. That's quite an accomplishment. The only issue is if he is okay living in Korea and especially in the extremely, extremely cramped conditions of the team house (I mean apartment).
