Welp, that's that guys. Go home, game over.

O GOD THE FOUR HORSEMEN OF STARCRAFT WILL PURGE THE FOREIGN SCENE IN 2012.

And what about this "foreign expeditionary squad consisting of NesTea-Mvp-LosirA-Fenix." which indicates continued, if not increased Korean dominance over foreign events! Ouch!

You mean, increased Korean AND FENIX dominance over foreign events!

Finally there*s some pro taking the right path!
I was always wondering how pros from EU and US still remain their "old" path of doing their job. I mean, they will NEVER ever win a big tournament again w/o getting to the same level as the koreans are. And they will always be behind the koreans the way it works at the moment. The only way to become as good as the koreans are:

1. put more effort into improving. Since the Koreans already spend 100% of their available time in improving, its simply impossible to reach the same level.

2. to join them, copy from them, to improve faster, that you can reach their level much faster. Finally someone is doing this.

It's comparable to the actual business. Countries who are behind in a technological way, like China, they form partnerships with western industries to improve faster.Thats the way to go in esports, too. I dont understand why you create progaming houses in US or EU, when ur so much behind, that you cannot keep up with the evolution in korea.

Well done Fenix, he is understanding how to improve the most effective way.

This amazing news! Hopefully he gets used to the Korean pro house culture and win some foreign tournament! Show people how practice can pay of.

Ill never understand this relation between foreigner and Korean teams... There is 20+ better terrans outside Korea than Fenix, and the best team in world pick him... It works the other way too... what Hero/Puma/Rain ect. are looking in foreign teams? Practice is way better in Korea and then one of the best players in the world is flying to US to EG house to practice with players that (with all due respect) achieved nothing yet in sc2...

This would be super epic! And IM missing a promising terran after mvp...fenix fighting anyways!

IM has quite a few strong terrans if you ask me... Yoda for one, his ghost play was and multi-tasking was epic

Yoda and Happy are promising, but inconsistent. Although I don't know if Fenix will be better than those two (Happy managed to get into Code S, after all), there's obviously a lot of potential with Fenix, especially after his recent GSTL performances.

I think the problem is that all of them are rather weak in TvP. Yoda played like a noob against Tassadar, and is 4-8 (33%) overall, by far his worst. Happy has been pretty bad in most of his TvP showings I've seen, and is 2-4 (33%), again by far his worst. Fenix is still a question mark in that regard - one win against MC doesn't prove much, got destroyed by Tassadar, and his TvP is his statistically worst matchup in international events at 50%. MVP has long been known to have the weakest TvP relative to his other two matchups (the 3-0 against Huk doesn't prove much in my eyes).

How about MVP's domination vs MC ? Go watch it please if you have not, he man handled him.

I do agree though, they not only lack vs Protoss in general they lack real talent of Protoss in the group. Younghwa is all that comes to mind really ... Would be nice to see SaSe added considering he's freelancing to now. And small chance of Naniwa but that would be to epic, and perhaps creates drama.

Grats to Fenix! Sounds like IM is going to be very motivated to train him and have him produce results since the coach wants to show he can train a foreigner.

I've always loved Fenix for the sole reason that he looks incredibly similar to a mate of mine, but now hes turning into a sick beast, cant wait to see what happens when IM unlock his potential

This is so cool. I remember talking with one of my friends about how since Fenix's contract just expired, we were wondering if he might get picked up by a Korean team. My guess had gone to SlayerS since BoxeR is so fond of MLG events and Fenix would probably be willing to travel to MLGs, but playing for IM must be a dream come true for Fenix. Good luck dude! Foreigners fighting!!
