THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS FXOKorea IT'S ALL JUST FXO. I'm quite sure that there are 2 FXO teams - FXOKorea and FXOInternational. They are separate in that they have their own management and coaches. Do you realise I am actually in FXO and I am telling you they are one and the same. THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS FXOKorea IT'S ALL JUST FXO. I considered the FXO team in Korea (Choya, Leenock, SC, etc.) to be a Korean team and not a foreign team for arguments sake. If I were to include them I think the polls would be very lopsided in the FXO favor. Plus the Korean division of FXO (or however you want to describe it) is more of a Korean team by description than a Foreign team. As far as nationalities I went off Liquipedia. Sorry if I messed anyone's up. It's probably not worth arguing but most of the Koreans in a foreign team are living in Korea anyway. FXO as a team was founded by Australians. When the players are living in the Malaysian pro house do you consider it a Malaysian pro team? You could just include sC and Leenock in the poll instead it just seems pointless to vote on something where you make the 'rules' up as you go. Liquid is basically a Korean team atm by your standards. Updated the polls to be less biased. I'm still not sure whether Moonan or Oz is no longer considered Korean (it still shows as Korean on liquipedia). Sorry again for that confusion. mOoNan was born in Korea but in my experiences with him he seems to identify as an American, having lived there the past ~9 years. Oz is still a Korean any way you look at him.

My apologies in that I'm incorrect. However, what I'm trying to highlight is that although they are the same team (e.g. FXOInternational players are eligible for GSTL places in FXOKorea), I view them as a separate team since they have different management/coaches:

Its pretty simple.
We are not under the same type of agreement as oGs.TL. FXO has aquired fOu, it iwll become FXO.
Not FXO fOu.
At the same time, the only difference between the foreign FXO and the korean FXO is the management. Choya will maintain his job as manager/headcoach of anything in Korea for FXO. Whereas unstable is now the permanent manager and headcoach for FXO abroad.
Players in all of FXO will be eligable for the team league based on internal rankings, and at the same time, the ex fOu house is made available to the rest of FXO. Thus FXO has 2 team locations available to them in Asia.
This is beneficial for both parties, and I am really excited to see the progress of this agreement.
I'd like to personally thank all of fOu for being so co-operative, and there is a party waiting for them in Kuala Lumpur when they visit.

FXOBoSs In my opinion, I believe this mentality is shared by the rest of the community unless they integrate much more closely.

Don't be stupid.
Look at it this way:
Apple buys Sony. So that means that everything becomes Apple. Or will you argue that it is not the real Apple since it was Sony before that?

In a sport you can have a coach for the defensive players and one for the offensive players it doesn't make them 2 separate teams they just have different requirements. The Korean players still participate in ranking matches and competitions that are in-house like Inside FXO, they practice with each other constantly, they communicate as much as possible with the language barrier through SLoG and mOoNan, and you could see a clan war lineup featuring qxc, SLoG, sC and Leenock.

For instance, Toyota and Lexus. They are under the same banner (Toyota) but are separate entities.
Similarly, with many BW pro-teams who have the A-teams and B-teams. Do you consider them separate or as a single team? Or WeMadeFox for instance - they have separate SC2, BW, WC3 and CS teams.
At the moment, I prefer to look at FXO as 2 separate entities - using whichever terms that are more suitable. For instance, they are the same team with 2 distinct sub-teams.

Yeah, I just read your reply in the other "FXOKorea to MLG" thread.
However, I don't really blame the thread title since it was based on Choya's twitter:
@FXOChoya: FXOKorea 대표로 김찬민선수와 제가 MLG Raleigh를 참가하게되엇습니당 다시한번 열심히하고오겟습니당 +_+ It'll take time before the general public views FXO as a single team.
In my opinion, the community definition of a "korean" is currently someone who is a korean-nationality training (or have trained) under the korean infrastructure in korea. I won't really consider the foreigners living in korea as "koreans" nor Select as one.
With that in mind, if FXO is excluded, I would say Puma definitely has had the greatest recent success. However, I think that the koreans in foreign teams are quite even at the moment. However, I would say that Hero will have the best infrastructure in which to improve and I'm not sure if Puma will be able to experience the same training.

Eh I don't like that you assume HuK and Jinro are Korean. Yeah, they've done the Korean shtick. I think being brought up in the culture makes you Korean, not just training there for a few months. Korean dominance does indeed stem a lot from their training regemin, but IMO a good amount of it has to do with growing up in a much smaller country where there was a legitimate, visible, pro gaming scene always around you. Does something to your mentality about the game I think.
Voted for Puma. Can't wait to see what he will do. Though I'm hopeful about HerO, and I hope CoL will sign DRG :D

Everyone had a problem with the original poll. I originally just had Moonan and Oz for FXO and just Hero for liquid. People wanted me to include the former fou players in FXO and if I were to do that I felt it only fair to include Huk and Jinro. They may not be Korean, but they are using the korean practice/lifestyle.

Doesn't Col.MVP count as already having koreans on their roster? I would imagine that because of this agreement we probably won't see a korean player (living in korea) join the complexity team since they may aswell just join MVP.
