I'm just going to put this here because General Discussion moves a lot slower and I think people take the time to read all of the posts. If I put this in a pertaining thread it would disappear in an instant under five new pages of OMG or H8 U.
Huk left Liquid. An incentive was a lot of money. Also his contract was up. There were a lot of reasons but none of them were synonymous with "Betrayal". First, EG has never been a rival of Liquid. Team'Liquid is not by most measures one of the top three teams (Unless you measure by fan support <3). However EG is further down the totem pole. Yes, of course, EG has earned the malcontent of some posters by events that have been chronicled enough that I don't need to refresh you. Yes, they do make an easy target. I'm hard pressed to deny that.
Now I don't know all that much about basketball but LeBron James caused a shitstorm when he left after his contract was up. In turn he was compensated many times over for his "defection". So did Huk. If you are aware of basketball world- ask yourself how big of a deal that move is now? To certain people the sting will never go away but by the by people have forgiven and forgot.
So remember what I'll tell you the next time you're going to make a post that entails the following sentiments- Huk is a traitor/betrayer/sellout. Remember when you blame EG for being.. evil.
All of this will pass within a few months and there will be new, delicious drama to eat up. In the meantime please try and show everyone else why www.teamliquid.net isn't even in the same league as the rest of the gaming sites. Please show your manners and if you can't do anything positive at all then say it makes you sad or outraged. Don't leap for the nearest cruel word. Hell, don't even get mad. Not only will all of this be (mostly) forgotten in the next 60 days but we have a new champion anyway!

I'm sure there's a thread on it somewhere but I don't even know what to search for so sorry if it's obvious. How do I get a US license for SC2. Not the literally mechanics of buying it, but do I need to make an entirely new b.net account, can I link it to my existing one?
In short, what do I need to do two play in two regions solely with regards to having two licenses?

I have AM and EU acc in the same e-mail/account, you just need to buy the key for that account. There is no secret into it. If you have a more specific question, please bring it here.

Well you cant reallt compare Huks situation with Lebrons. Lebron already had a multimilion contract, which Huk clearly hasnt.
That Huk would join EG for the money is understandable, and is the logical choice, given that a gamers future is really unstable moneywise.
The reason that people hate Lebron is that he was on a sucky team and joined a much better one just to win the championship.
It wasnt even just that he joined Miami, it was that he waited until the last moment to declare what he was going to do and then he did it live on TV, he´s a sellout and a douche, which I dont think Huk is.

That's an excellent point--SC is much more about individual talent and skill than a team's aggregate talent and skill. I wonder though, if this same sort of thing would be tolerated in Korea, where the GSTL makes up a huge part of the season's games...for example, if MMA went and joined IM, that'd probably cause a much bigger uproar, just because so much of the team's success depends on the team itself, more so than in foreign tournaments, where it sometimes just seems like a player's team is nothing more than the prefix attached to their name.

Why are zerg progamers so bad at stopping bunker rushes, seriously, so many zergs dont block it and lose their nat even in gsl.

I'm going to guess and venture that you'd probably need some combination of HT, Stalkers, Colossi, Phoenix (to pick off Infestors)? That comp's incredibly micro-intensive though....

I'm a silver level player that is wanting to start playing some of the tournaments I see posted on this site but I am kind of unsure on how exactly to go about doing it. Could someone please help me out with this? Not sure if this is the right place to post but help would be appreciated.

Well the easiest and most direct way is to post in the tournament thread and PM the person who started it or if listed organized it for more information. I'd start there!

Anybody know what text languages are available in SC2? I know there's limited voice/sound packs, but is there a wider range of unit/UI text (like Japanese or Turkish)?

Refresh the first page and sign up. That's pretty much how low level tournaments work! You HAVE to click the check in link that was provided in the OP an hour before the tournament begins. I've been late and still barely made it into tournaments before but usually when you don't check in someone on a backup list takes your spot.
Anyway it's just that easy, register-put in information-check in-play in tournament! Good luck!
