Hope to win: 1. Select. After Painuser retired he's become my favorite streamer. His MLG Colombus results was really disappointing. But he passed on Dreamhack to focus on MLG so I hope we see a new Select in Anaheim. 2. QXC. I've been a fanboy of him since the beta, and it would be awesome to see his Korean training pay dividends. He's probably my favorite player to watch now, ever since LZgamer betrayed to Zerg =( 3. Boxer. Basically because I still want to see him in GSL, and I worry that Code A qualifiers will hold him back. I would like for a Westerner to win the tournament, but I hope he places high enough to get a Code A/S slot. Hope to fail: 1. MMA. Nothing against him personally, but I don't want Koreans to dominate. And among the Korean Terrans I much prefer Boxer, MVP, and Bomber. 2. Terran. I really like his play but I hate his attitude. I think he needs to be crushed in order to learn some humility and gain some maturity. 3. Drewbie. I think he has a lot of potential to be a good player, but I feel that he doesn't take the game seriously enough. I think he needs to lose as a wakeup call in order to reach his full potential. He's pretty good but right now he's up there with Haypro on my list of people who don't deserve to be seeded in the championship bracket.

Spanishiwa - he is 17-years old, seventeen, one seven, years old. A extremely innovative and very talented zerg-player. And people want him to fail? In his first big LAN? Faugh! Shame on you. Seriously. Naniwa and MMA for being great and established players.

but there are some that sacrifice more than the others and I hope those will succeed. That includes: 1. all the Koreans 3. the guys from the Swedish team house 2. the guys in the Fnatic team house Those would be the three groups I wish to succeed the most.

Win:
Lose:
edit: Honestly, there were many other people I would like to see win (like iNcontroL, DongRaeGu, and MC) and for the lose list, Cruncher was a random name I added on so I could get 3 names. It's really only HuK and Destiny that should be on that list.

EG--Theyv got so much flame that I feel is largely unjustified. Would love them to just stomp on this event and give people something better to talk about IM MVP-- Always have been a fan, maybe its his inabilty to dominate that draws my fanship dignitas -- Up there as one of my favourite eSport teams and will definately be cheering for merz and naniwa Hopes to Fail: DRG -- I dont want the hype to be true. If it is, God help us all Koreans playing Foreigners -- It makes a great story so sue me

BoxeR - He's the Michael Jordan of eSports, I think Boxer deserves at least to be in the semi finals (or beyond), so he can hear his fans from the states cheer him on, win or lose. I hope he does well and gets invited back for more MLGs. Destiny - Not only do I enjoy his stream, but I think he's a great player. I'm glad to see him going to MLG again and hope he does well this time, if not, I'll still continue to cheer him on and watch him progress on his stream. White-Ra - Special Tactics will prevail. Fail: Idra - I can't stand his attitude anymore. Incontrol - Umm... I just don't like him I guess? lol Korean Players - Apart from Boxer, I'd like to see players from other than Korean win, nothing against them at all.

Hope to win: 1. Naniwa - love his playstyle and besides him and HuK I don't see another foreigner competing for the title 2. Jinro - slumping so hard lately, he needs a confident-boost 3. Rain + Oz + Choya - Would be great to see the Korean-foreigner partnerships succeeding.

I wish I could pick more than three T_T MVP- he's probably the most solid terran in the world, but after the last gstl I was not very happy with his decision making at all. I'd really like to see him do well because for me watching his matches I usually learn a few things out of them or I'll find a build or two I really like from him. Idra- Extremely solid player, definately one of the top top zergs in the world. His main weakness is his mindset and if he could stick in the games I really feel like he could push through a whole lot more. Boxer- Emperor fighting!!!! There are too many people I think won't do well :D

Get off the bandwagon and worship someone that you are actually famaliar with. He's not a god, or really a good sc2 player comparatively, more often than not seemingly anymore all he does is cute cheeses.i want to see him crash hard. on the other hand if he plays brilliantly and straight up. tear yourself a path all the way to the finals! -End Rant -MC, He's a beast. he understands his class perfectly with the flawless execution and decision making skills to back it up. but he's in every single major tourney. and nearly always placing top 3 or better. I'd like to see him knocked out early so other good players can breathe easier knowing he isnt gunning around the next corner. *disclaimer, i found TL and started following pro SC about 2 days before the TSL2(it was my first tourney to watch) so i dont know everything in BW, i didnt make an actual TL account until like nearly 2 years later. ...So ironic that you claim that everyone who loves boxer is just a bandwagon fan and doesn't actually know him, when you yourself admit to not even knowing his history. I myself will admit to not being around here when he was playing, but even I had heard of him prior to joining TL - even then, anyone competent can follow the scene and know how Boxer's interacted with the SC2 community: people like him because he's devoted to e-sports. , for example. It's also funny because you accuse people of being bandwagon fans, when you yourself note that he's not famous for his SC2 accomplishments/domination - if anything, that's the direct opposite of fair-weather bandwagon fans who jump on only when their favorite does well. there was nothing ironic about it....i would reccomend, rereading my post. my self explanation was included to show that im not some hypocrit who has claimed to follow the scene for the last decade when i havent. as for his accomplishments. i know exactly what they are. i know exactly what his history was(probably better than you). as for you claiming you knew of him. im calling bullshit. if your a westerner, and you didnt know what TL was. the odds you knew anything of what people were doing in korea, would have been so remarkably low. Other than TL, there was like 2 or 3 other american starcraft sites, all of them so small, a google search wouldnt even bring them up.(mad props if anyone reading this could even list 1 or more of them off.) when streaming didnt happen. noone did english commentary. and even getting replays was diffucult( the height of his career being 2001-2004, youtube wasnt even popular back then, let alone replays on it) so grow up. so yea, if you "knew", you would be like in the top 1% of westerners. as for your reply link... thats the best you got? a tiny forum post from like two weeks ago? there is noone questioning his advancement of esports, you could have listed how he formed the Korean team ACE, or how then made SlayerS or like 30 other things, nope you gave a 25 word post that said "wow, we didnt even know western fans really existed, but thanks!" TL;DR i know exactly what Boxer has done. He's like Tiger Woods to BOxer and golf was BW for westerners, nobody followed it, but people just know hes(was) really good, so they jump all over it. i just pointed it out.
