Can't believe this, Sheth just talked about FXO on his stream

He quit Korea cause:
1. room-sharing, no privacy (wow.., ever been to college)?
2. room-sharing, too hot (wow.., ever consider burn off some body fat)?
3. jet-leg between Korea and NASL (that's what sales do, travel to Asia and back all the time)
4. misses his mommy and daddy (u've been away for less than a month, u're 22 already)

For the above reasons, he ditched his teammates in Korea. Way to take responsibility. Yeap, that's basically what he said.

I don't condone your verbal attack at Sheth, but all the other points you bring are all valid. I don't get why people here put pro gamers on a pedestal. They aren't really different from any of us. I can't believe people are trying to make excuses for Sheth.

How about this: it's his choice, piss off and leave him alone. Since when do you have the right to judge his decisions? Since when should Sheth have to base decisions that pertain only to him on the judgement and opinions of other people rather his own? Why should he need excuses in the first place? If you were actually supportive of Sheth you wouldn't criticize his decision, you'd support it because it's what he decided was best for him. Sorry it doesn't fall under your arbitrary standards of how a pro gamer should act.

Logical it makes sense. But you have to understand that Sheth and other pro gamers put themselves in the public eye. You will be criticize and judge for everything you do. Its the baggage that you have to carry if you want to become famous in whatever it is you are doing.

Life isn't all peaches and cream.

Well said. Hopefully Sheth finds a team that can fulfill all his needs and requests. I have an idea of which team it could be but anything can happen.

in regards to the aircon. I shared the room with sheth, the aircon was on 16 celcius everyday. Infact its the reason i left Korea with the flu.

You can't get the flu from being cold. On a side note, stepping on a crack won't break your mother's back, and an apple a day doesn't keep the doctor away.

Being cold lessens the effectiveness of your immune system and makes you more susceptible to the sorts of bacteria/viruses/etc that your body fights off on a day to day basis.

He doesn't lower it to an extreme, making it so the cold is directly the cause of the cold. A body with a decent healthy body will be fine in the cold.

Not surprizing news. The team spends tons of money on you to go out to korea and perform only for you to return home on the quicks. Disappointing by sheth.. expected much more from him.

On the other hand, qxc rockin it up!!

I'm a huge fan of Sheth's, and was absolutely ecstatic to hear about FXO's participation in GSL/GSTL. That being said, Sheth has problems with travel and leaving home. As much as I wish it were utterly irrelevant, one cannot be an active participant in the eSports tournament scene without the ability to endure frequent, distant travel. I have no doubt that this is where FXO and Sheth parted ways: Sheth's ability to be where the team wanted to be, as often as they wanted him.

This is no different than when a company moves locations and tells their employees, either you go with us or you don't have a job. Some people don't go and Sheth didn't go. I do feel that with all the koreans traveling abroad you can't win a big tourney without going to Korea so Sheth is sealing his fate.

Good luck to Sheth, too bad that Korea wasn't working out for him
Interesting to see if he might go back to ROOT/coL.

It was pretty obvious in my opinion, when a team captain leaves for whatever reason and not come back while their team is getting trashed on forums and in the game he isn't capable of being a captain at all. Not judging his decision, but I think he could have done things a lot better given the fact that he got Code A status based on nothing really, leaving out more commited players who would take this opportunity seriously.

I'm really sorry for Sheth, as he is a great player, but I'd rather have as captain someone who stayed through the slaughterhouse showing support to their team. Hail qxc, Moonan, Oz and everyone who stayed until the end.

If your team is taking things to the next level it's only natural to keep the players that share your vision. Good luck to Sheth.
