What don't they like?

Don't understand the rule, it's dumb.

The US considers it "gambling", yet someone has won this championship two times, so obviously SKILL is the contributing factor here. But isn't luck of the draw a small part of it as well, similar to Starcraft where you might scout properly yet skill miss something important due to bad luck?
Would you say it's 95% skill 5% luck, or is luck more important?
I couldn't begin to give you a percentage but I think Poker is a game of probabilities and percentages more so than luck. Phil Helmuth has 11 bracelets with 45 final tables appearances. That's not luck.

How do rankings work? Isn't it in everyone's favor to play slower than other tables to get eliminated slower?

I really hope he gets a winstreak an scores big - I would really love him to win alot

I think it says alot about our community that there are probably a ton of people watching the stream from this thread alone, just because Kiwikaki is playing, and we in all likelihood won't even see him today. Pretty badass.

How much longer are they playing for today?

Hahaha, yeah that river! I would of done the same too.

People are eliminated in order but given how slowly the payouts go up (survive 60 slots and it goes up 5k, which isn't much for a lot of online grinders/pros) they're just jockeying for good position, not just ante/blinding out to survive.

I don't think that was always the rule. I believe it was because of Jamie gold and his " I told you I had top top" line. It really looked like they were colluding. So they changed the rule

the "trashtalk" in the hands made the sport the spectatorsport it was some years ago. This rule will harm Poker more than it does good - and player who get intimidated or influenced by the talks in a hand should not compete in the highest level anyway...

What happened on the hand where everyone is talking about the river? I missed it.
