No the code A spots are only for foreigners. Dunno what's their rule is for Select tho. The MLG page linked in the OP says: "Also on the line are three spots in GSL Code A, which will be awarded to the three highest-finishing players who do not currently have Code A status or higher and were not invited via the League Exchange Program." According to that, Koreans who enter through the open bracket or were seeded outside of the League Exchange Program can get Code A, so long as they aren't currently Code A or Code S.

MLG Columbus opened many eyes and gave MMA, Losira and MC tons of fans and exposure they would otherwise have never had. This in turn builds hype for their next appearances at GSL tournaments, which increases the viewership for the GSL. Yeah for the people who don't follow the korean scene (can't be many right?) seeing these Koreans come over and Roflstomp the competition. I kind of feel bad, what if this becomes a common theme, it's going to be korea ruling this as hard as they did SC1. Other than Naniwa, Sen, Thorzain.. and maybe a couple others.. who can honestly stop them coming over and wrecking the place.

Also, Slayers making a huge push into MLG... interesting that they are sending Alicia who is already in code S, when they could have sent Min or another promising rookie to try to get a Code A slot since a close reading of the rules would indicate they could get said slot because they wouldn't be part of the exchange program. Boxer definitely got the 'easiest' group possible, depending on who comes out of the open bracket, he might be able to sneak into the second slot behind Idra.
