The rule is the highest placing player that currently doesn't have Code S (and that player must be in the top 3). Basically he just needs to beat out MMA, Boxer, Ganzi and choya and get in the top 3. Same goes for any of them though.

He got some respectable place too, might've not been used to the multiple games in a row.

Was more to do with his treatment and the organization, not knowing when the next game would be, sitting there for ever with no word, no place to just relax between games, being unable to leave because your game could be in 5mins or an hour.

That or MLG/Gom partner so MLG like event will be held in korea in the future. A lot of SlayerS players this time around. I wonder if they will keep trying to get members in the coming MLG's as wel. This provides an excellent amount experience for the players who hardly ever get to compete outside tournaments sucht as the GSTL. I'm also really stoked about Choya and DRG, DRG especially deserves more time in the spotlights, so hopefully he'll do well in Anaheim. The only concern I have lies with the foreigners. They will have a really tough time displaying results in each seperate tournament (though they probably have very little to worry about when looking at the overall rankings). On the other hand, getting to play a lot of Korean pros might be a good incentive for the foreign pros to intensify their training. This MLG and GOM partnership seems to be very rewarding for MLG and the Korean pros, but I don't really see this bringing GOM anything special. Maybe they're getting a lot more exposure in the foreign community? Though I hardly believe that is even possible. The same goes for foreign pros. The chance to compete in Code A and spend a month in Korea (and train on the Korean ladder) would be an incredible learning experience and may provide the players with new insights and playstyles. The complaints I heard when this deal was announced first was that foreign pros are concerned that their competitive life would be seriously halted during that month and they might fall behind others when it comes to qualifiers for certain leagues, or even missing out on invitationals because they are spending time on the other side of the world while only parttaking in the Code A matches (and perhaps the GSTL). So my question with this is would be mainly directed towards the foreign pro players: Do you feel that the opportunity to spend a month in Korea, to compete in an environment that is even more competitive and perhaps even of a higher skill level, is worth the month worth of experience that you miss out on because you are unable to compete in various foreign based tournaments?

Not to mention the relatively small prize pool and that with more then 4 koreans in the open bracket you have guaranteed korean vs korean action. For a 5.000 dollar prize, it might simply be uneconomical to participate. Then again, awesome awesome awesome invites. DRG and MVP, couldn't have picked better players in terms of hype, and SlayerS stepping up their international presence is awesome too.

Even better if the semi-finals also would be held there to give them less time to prepare for the finals -> better finals.
