Just because there was a huge number of LOL watchers at DH doesn't mean that they actually follow e-sports, and I'd say Starcraft is still the best and biggest esport there is when it comes to popularity. Blizzard is somewhat of a cock block for their own gaming community though. Especially as activision's in charge.. Who made that decision anyway? | ||

The reason they had so many viewers this time because it was literally a GLOBAL range of SC2 Superstars that turned up for that side of the tournament (Not sure about LoL). This is not Dreamhack Crew or company speaking, if you read the OP you can clearly see that it's not "Them" (which I interpreted as you refering to Dreamhack) who are writing, but it's a media and marketing expert who is writing a blog, and it's his opinions and not Dreamhacks. Still, I agree that he is making "sly digs" at MLG. But that doesn't mean that Dreamhack crews go "nyaa nyaa, who's the best?!". | ||

Still cool to see though well it was over 87k + at times so sc2 defineately got a lore more than 100-150k unique, probably over 1 million. LoL had the most but they didnt have double as much as starcraft 2. And as The LoL viewers was mainly from the in-game stream itself it probably didnt have that many unique as the game itself is played mainly from hardcore players. Awesome numbers how ever DreamHack fighting!EDIT: Oh I hadn't updated the tl thread last minutes didn't realize u alrdy explained it. | ||
