Don't know why people have fun doing these types of things. Edit: seriously the two post above me? Why the heck do you care about your points? The important thing is for blizzard to just ban the hackers. Some measly points and MMR isn't a big deal. | ||

I can relate to your frustration, but the testing and going through their SCM process for a fix for something like this can be a lot more involved than you think, even if the fix itself is simple. They're obviously aware of the problem, just hope they assign fixing it an appropriately high priority. | ||

EDIT: just checked out the guy that may have drop hacked me, he has a 20 game win streak all within like 3 hours, and the games were all 1 min - definitely drop hack | ||

I am a programmer too, and yes, those thing are easy to backtrack, but it still can be one hell of a pain to deploy a counter patch tho. In all honesty, the fact that we haven't seen any real cheating issues (aside from stream watching, which isn't under blizzards control anyways) so far in SC2 makes me feel good. Look at most multiplayer games we've seen out of other developers, and you'll find a bunch of cheats and hacks within the first few weeks. Give Bizzard some time to figure this out. | ||
