And after the constant skepticism they have over dota that they just kind of spend 2 mins and go fuck it, thats china. Considering that this is "esports" it is funny how little attention that gets while 1.6 and quakelive that have had dying scenes for years and have 2 events a year get an hour on the show on a regular basis. Kind of sad that halo/cod gets more coverage from a show that claims to be about competitive gaming, considering the dota genre is by far the biggest competitive scene overall and has been for years. China does have a history of non legit numbers though. I remember when they claimed a football match was watched by X number of people in a city. The problem was that number was triple the population of said city.

The twitter just said that KoT and ItG were canceled, nothing about LO3, I would guess there is a show tonight, but its not marked on the calendar. Confused.

I have to say I have always loved your weekly shows and I already was a big fan of them and also of your personality. As someone who plays games since my early days (the good old Quake times), I tend to agree a lot with your opinions and statements. It just shows times and times again that you have a lot of experience, every long time gamer can see that. And god, you´re reaction to the extremely disappointing disconnect and that David Ting explanation of that DHCP issue on IPL4 was fucking gold and also to the point. As a systems engineer myself I know that such or similiar issues can occur and that there simply is no other solution than a reconnect feature for this sort of problem. Technology is always going to be hard to master and even with network specialists at work there is always the possibility that something can go wrong. It is important to realize that and not dismiss anything beforehand, preparation is everything, but even then, such things can happen all the time. It´s just the question of how that is gonna be handled in the future. A regame is great and all, it is a needed instrument, because there currently is no other solution for us. But it should always be remembered that a situation like this can only occur (and all the discussion that broke lose all over the net), because Blizzard doesn´t want to integrate something that is needed for professional esports, not because it isn´t possible. Apart from that I´ve enjoyed IPL4 immensely (e.x. GSTL with the GOM team, the great players, the korean stream, there was a lot to like) and it just shows that esports has come a long way. Keep up the great work djWHEAT! Consider me a sold fan for your shows for years to come. Wish you and your family all the best.
