"We are learning" and "grassroots" are pretty stupid reasons, if you are so grassroots why did you spend $100k on the prizepool and not use some of that money to pay someone who actually knows how to operate a camera? You can say "fuck slasher" but the show is usually much more no fluff when he is on it. In general, checks and balances. Slasher and Wheat can no-fluff about EG. Scoots and Slasher can no-fluff about twitch/jtv. Wheat and Scoots can no-fluff about MLG. There have been many no-fluff topics covered recently, as long as Lo3 isn't bought out by a single entity and can remain somewhat independent (and sponsors which will be supportive like Steelseries & Gunnar), I don't imagine this changing. They can't no-fluff NASL AT NASL, and expecting such wouldn't be realistic; give them a chance to do a full review on Wednesday (or next Wednesday, I haven't checked when the next show is scheduled). I do agree that having an Lo3 at an event ties Lo3's hands, preventing them from being constructively critical of the event itself, but it does add to the event hype and adds content instead of filler/splashscreen...so, I trust Wheat/Scoots/Slasher (except drunk Slasher) to make the right decision, even if it's just a Lo3-light at events. | ||

IMHO one thing that made TSL so awesome were the great songs before the matches started. I had constant shivers down my spine and didn´t forget that until today. | ||

Even as somebody whose followed WCG for years, it's frustrating trying to find anything useful. Why is the layout still so bad? Ugh, I really want to keep loving WCG, and I want it to be as glorious as it should be, but...bleh. | ||

If Capcom would license it to MLG or another company that would do tournaments I think it would get even bigger. Seems like that community is pretty fucking big now.
