We’re very excited to welcome the large ROOT fan base to the coL Community. We encourage you to interact with the team via the website, our Facebook, YouTube and Twitter.
I see what you did there. Anyways, huge move by complexity, good luck & have fun to ROOT!
Im interested what team Kiwi and Slush will be joining...

Good luck in the future, Kiwi and Slush. Congrats to complexity, this was a pretty big move.

idk why people only focusing on kiwi slush.... the palyers we picked up are hella good as well, im pumped with it

sad to see root dissolve. they had a sick line up in beta: kiwikaka, qxc, sheth, catz, slush, drewbie, cauthonluck now the original lineup has been broken apart in pairs t.t

Root was pretty badass but i'm gonna guess this was in their best interest, or, at the very least, ROOT thought it was.

I wonder what compLexity offered, had to be pretty big to make ROOT disband.

extremely curious what made root decide to leave their 'brand name' and merge with complexity. maybe they actually realised it was hard to get sponsorships and felt they had to make this move for the benefit of themselves.

Maybe I'm outdated.. but what happened to fayth?
|
Wow how exciting! I wondor where Kiwikaki and Slush are gonna go, teamwise.
|
So they lost their best 2 players in the process?
Not sure if I like.

That's awesome to hear!
Complexity has had such an impact in other games, I think with ROOT's roster now sporting a Complexity tag, we're going to see their dominance in sc2!

Not to mention that one of their sponsors (Pokerstars) isn't even in the US market anymore.
I am going to miss Root as an institution, but at least the majority of them are sticking together with Complexity. Hopefully Kiwikaki and Slush get on a team they deserve.

So this is interesting, what does this mean for Cruncher, Stalife, etc?

if kiwi goes for the money it will be FXO.. if he goes for the best team he will be joining EG.. think both team would want him..
too bad ROOT doesn't excist anymore was my favourite team by a mile.. ROOT in front of a name looks much better then COL.. fucking armyrank.. they should do something about that.

Looking for a new favourite team... Can't bring myself to cheer for Complexity...
Hopefully Kiwi and Slush will got to dignitas or an equally good team. Kiwi deserves it he had been essentially forgoing a huge paycheck to be on a team he was a real part of. I wanna see Kiwi get really rich.

I wanna see LiquidKiwikaki!

I have mixed feelings about this right now... I loved ROOT as ROOT but I'm not sure how it will really work as a subset of Complexity, particularly without Slush and Kiwikaki...
Also, I'm not sure how this will play out for the EGMC. It just seems like a slightly strange situation. Will ROOT be a subdivision of complexity? Will they become ColROOT or remain ROOT or just straight up become Col? Also, without Kiwi and Slush, it's a really strange situation.
It would be a real shame to see my favorite team dissolved or changed into something else. Oh well, we'll have to see how it plays out. Hopefully ROOT remains the ROOT I was a fan of, with more of a partnership with Col than an acquisition.
