You should never ever leave your country and try to communicate with foreign people in a common language (english, german)

You're from Sweden. How did you learn English if everyone just irritates you over there? Do you speak proper English yourself?

What does it matter how he speaks lol? I know I don't like listening to casters with certain accents because I know how english is supposed to sound like. I wouldn't mind a TLO, TB and MC co-cast though

Look at the end of the day you don't have any influence on it one way or the other, caps or no caps.

Fairly ridiculous that you ask for Khaldor then in the same post think I would destroy Code A, when we cast in the same style and know about as much about SC2 as each other. It does demonstrate that most casting preferences are really little more than subjective likes and dislikes, rather than real, substantive concerns, which is the reason organisations don't take the opinions of the community so seriously when choosing their casters.

He said he didn't like you. That's valid. He's obviously not trying to affect the decision, just as when I post "No Cella! Don't send out ____!" I'm not actually trying affect Cella's decision.

It doesn't matter if his like of a caster is objective, because he will base his actions on his subjective opinion. Objectivity is important when making broad generalizations like "A caster should do A B C and never do D E F because of X Y Z" but a person doesn't really need to objectively explain why he doesn't like something. I don't really like IPAs. Why? I don't know I just don't like them so I don't drink them. I don't need to objectively explain to you why I don't drink them.

The last part is frankly absurd. To say an organization doesn't weigh popularity when choosing casters doesn't explain why Day[9] is at every major LAN or why MLG flew Tastosis across the world. Obviously the general popularity of a caster is a major factor in an event choosing who to hire.

Well, since you are unfortunately reading what these idiots have to say i wanted to ask: Are you applying for the job? Would love to see you bring that excitement to some of those code A games.
Never Regret anything because at one time it was exactly what you wanted.

Don't feed the Troll's/idiots TB .

I still wanna see Kael in Code A with Wolf (CSN Clash of the houses guy). I would also love to see DOA and Wolf together but I don't think that will happen . I really liked DOA :'(.

Although I'm not a big fan of Khaldor, saying he isn't better than you is a downright lie. Khaldor is at least Master League while you are still stuck in Silver.

Oh god people asking for khaldor need to stop, I won't let him destroy my code A with his overreaction to anything he sees, and probably the less knowledgable guy to ever apply.

That would be relevant if they were going there to play but unfortunately they are there to cast games

So you're fine with a newbie casting games? I for one, want to learn something and understand everything that is going on when i see a game. I've seen TB miss several important aspects of his casted games, from tech choices to even big battles (Haypro vs Bomber Game 1).

Well... duh! Of course they're subjective likes and dislikes. It's TV. Is there an objective reason to differentiate between Conan and Leno? It's largely down to the popularity of the individual and that, incidentally in the case of SC2, is also party objective as it has to do with knowledge of the game as well as general casting style. But mostly it will be a subjective like. Same as with musicians, tv presenters, talk-show hosts, news anchors, etc.

Frankly I don't see how people can watch your stream. That's nothing personal against you or your qualities as a caster, I haven't seen enough of it to be able to judge whether or not you know what you're talking about, but I just can't listen to you for very long and it seems there are a lot of people that feel the same way. Now having said that, there's also a large group of people that do enjoy watching you as is evidenced by the amount of viewers and subscribers.

But to say that it's largely subjective and that because of that, companies won't pay much attention to our opinions is a pretty silly thing to say. It's exactly because of the subjective nature of the popularity that they have to listen to us, because there are no real objective standards to measure by.

i dont think its true....day9 and tastosis are simply the best, thats why.and maybe thats why they are the most popular.

i really like khaldor and i really LOVE TB...but i think neither of them should cast the gsl...when i watch the gsl i dont want to see only top notch players. i also wanna see top notch commentators. and that means they also need to have a very deep game understanding while casting the best players in the world. it would be a shame if the gsl casters cant even understand what incredible move the player did.

It's 100% relevant since higher skilled casters are more exposed to higher level plays as well as strategies and they can appreciate the skills/mechanics required more.

Reread what TotalBiscuit wrote, what I wrote and then what you wrote.

Edit: To summarize:

TB: Events don't care what people think about their casters.
Me: Of course popularity dictates which casters events hire.
You: Day9 and Tastosis are the best. That's why they are popular. (??)
