By putting on some shows on top of his game skills, he is able to accumulate quite a bit of star power. There is no way you can deny his star power just by look at the crowd's reaction. He made the choice by gaving something back to the crowd, with some high fives and a little drama. :p We all know esport as a career is very brutal, but MC is smart enough to start paving the extra miles of road shall he fall. As shown that in the real world, sponsors are looking for players with huge fan base, it isn't totally about the skills. However MC still got quite a bit of achivements to earn before he get that status. I'm pretty sure I don't need to name the list of players that already past its prime time, but still living comfortably due to the fan base it has. Not to mention alot of players got to where it is by simply creating drama, Idra being one of them. You'd hear his name alot less if this wasn't true.

He already did 2-0. MC has no right to BM idra after he got smashed.. just makes him look like an idiot. You realize Idra got destroyed last time? Let's see how well he will do in even conditions. Of course MC would say "I wasn't in best condition when lost to idra, i was in good conditio nwhen i beat everyone else" Are you really going to believe that? He was in as good of a condition as he's going to be when he got 2-0d by idra, it was still a stupid move to do that BM to idra AFTER getting smashed by him and playing it off as "oh i was in bad condition" Either way Idra is gonna own MC when they meet again in the finals. Lol what a joke. It's been confirmed by multiple people that the koreans suffered from huge jet lag. MC met IdrA recently at Dreamhack on completely equal conditions and just crushed him. IdrA was his first match of the day after huge jet lag and about 4 hours of sleep. Losira was almost passing out in his booth, MMA slept two hours inbetween his matches, and Tasteless had to be replaced with JP so he could take a nap in the middle of the casts. MC came later and had it worse than anyone. Ret and Tyler both played lackluster enough that it didn't matter. Call it an excuse all you want, it's verifiable truth. MC never makes excuses for his losses unless they are legitimate, he has always congratulated the other player and said that he will work hard to be better than before. I can't wait until they meet again and every little IdrA fanboy bites his tongue. People act like the player that is 7-1 against Minigun recently just randomly decided to flip a switch and become an unbeatable ZvP killing machine. No excuses anymore if MC loses (btw 2-0 Thorzain in Thorzain's best matchup, and Thorzain 2-0'd IdrA) since the worst of jet lag would have worn off. I hope they meet again in the finals and I will consider it a victory for IdrA if he takes one more game off MC.

I mean, even here, the gesture looked like something kinda playful, more than anything, Anyway, people like to overthink the whole issue i guess

I went up to MC to get a picture and he's a very shy guy and reserved, believe it or not. Also Idra's been very good to his fans that come up to him, flashing his nice smile. It's just a show, so just enjoy it. These is so much respect among the player in person, you see all the teams hanging out together talking. I'm just so happy that EVERYONE is playing at a whole another level. If you can attend a future MLG, DO IT
