I am so tired of people saying this about MC, NesTea, and all of the GSL winners.
MC had a poor BW record because he got put into games before he was ready. He showed a ton of promise but didn't have his mechanics refined enough to really be put into professional games, so he lost horribly. It was a poor decision by the coaches, and MC probably would have had a fairly successful BW career. He probably wouldn't have been the next Bisu, but he would have been pretty good, probably MVP ish. People need to stop giving people less credit than they're due about BW.
On topic: I have never been so excited for a rematch. This is going to be incredible.
These guys take the "pro" of prowrestling, and put it in progaming. Love it ! I'm so hoping for an Idra vs MC finals, after their encounter in the first game and then this. It would just be a perfect storyline for this MLG !

I think IdrA just really hates MC.
It's entertaining for us that's for sure though! It makes any possible MC versus IdrA sets that much more intense. I just love how chill IdrA was when he flipped him off, such a baller
If you guys have read an interview of MC he does his ceremonies for the sake of doing them. He is just making things exciting and causing drama and I doubt he does it to intentionally piss Idra off.
MC calling Idra out was rather rude, but the middle finger is a bit much as a response and it would be better if Idra just stomps MC and let his game speak for him.
I'm really excited to see more of this match up in the future. I've only seen them at dreamhack/mlg (have there been other matches?), but all of the games have seemed exciting and shown similar skills from both sides (besides the idra 6 pool). Pretty much all idra-protoss rivalries are interesting, but this could end up as one of my favorites.
IdrA needs to work on his counter ceremonies. The bird is a timeless classic, but it's time for him to step it up here. This situation called for a crotch chop at a bare minimum
I think idra just sees MC as an overhyped and over cocky player. Yeah he's good, and he won gsl twice. But really he's not that unbeatable as recent results show.
Personally i find his PvZ very abusive wih his near perfect sentry use, and his PvT has really not been very tested fully. MMA owned him in team leagues, but that was BO1, and he won against Rain, but Rain is a pushover and I personally feel his play isn't top player material. His entrance to GSL finals was a fluke. PvP he's pretty strong.
He's good don't get me wrong, but he's over-cocky and overhyped. To many people put him as the #1 best player. But really i feel its just the band wagon that comes when you win a GSL. I feel currently their is no best player, but alot of good ones. Personally i understand Idra though i don't support his actions.+ Show Spoiler +

Normally I don't cheer for Idra. But you said it, the bird IS a timeless classic... there's no substitute
mc's general cockiness was entertaining at first and its definitely won him a lot of fans but for me it's getting kind of annoying and overblown. it has the potential to generate a lot of drama/rivalry and that's great for e-sports and whatever, but on a personal level i don't really like the guy or his attitude and it kind of pleases me to see idra coolly dismissing him with the middle finger like that.
Some of you are reading way too much into this. I SERIOUSLY doubt Idra dislikes MC personally and vice versa. Plus flipping someone off is not the end of the world. Yeah its not very professional but ffs I'm glad its not professional.
I'm an avid NBA and NFL watcher and every year the men in suits put even more outlandish rules and penalties for players celebrating, taunting, or just being BM in general. I HATE IT, and I'm not sure why some people are in a rush to "clean up" e-sports from a little harmless fun.
I also think MC does this to not only play mind games, but to give himself a little bit of an edge. Michael Jordan was notorious for trash talking and starting shit with other players to try and get himself pumped up and give him an angry edge.

I still would have probably done the same
I don't think we put him as #1 player on the world. But we put him as the best Protoss in the world. I think he's better than Nani a bit.

What the heck? That is the silliest comment I've seen in a while. He doesn't hate MC, it's a game man. He's just playing along with the competitive banter. Just because you flip someone off doesn't mean you have some grudge against the guy. Geeze, that's an overstatement if ever there was one.
