It's a round robin format, so FXO will, at least, have four or five matches against Korean teams before they're out.

I just don't see how they can stack up against any of the teams currently playing in the GSTL.

FXO is going to be smashed, nothing against the team, but I don't see their lineup being able to take down a Korean team. Possibly one or two games, but not a win.

Good luck to them, I'm always down to be proven wrong and surprised.

Well good luck to you guys, but I don't know how it's going to go. Are they switching the format of the GSTL for this one, or is that for the next? Because if its the same as before, you might end up going against a really strong team in the first round and it will be over. D:

Edit: Someone above said that it will be the round robin format, so hopefully they can take a few teams down. We will have to see. Go FXO!

Fuck yeah MoONaN in the GSTL. Completely underrated and in my opinion the best player on FXO. He's the only player outside of Korea to have a BW progaming license. The guy fucking won Courage something almost every foreigner who has ever attempted has failed to do (including Idra multiple times). I really look forward to watching him have a chance to show off his skills.

This will be so interesting to see, i think they can do well. HOpefully they get enough time to practice before hand though because they certainly need that to compete with the koreans. However i definitely think FXO is able to do well!

What would be even more interesting now is that 8 players + Code A commentators + Unstable and Boss (11 people) are going to be using the GOM foreigner house. IIRC, the place can only accommodate 10 players.

I think problems might arise when the MLG Code A/S invites arrive...

I love the initiative but I feel like FXO doesnt have a strong enough lineup to compete with GSL players although they do have SOME superstars like QXC and Sheth..

Really excited to see a foreign team though and I'll be rooting for them.

Well, based on their current achievements, or lack thereof, I don't really see FXO going too far :/ No one on their team really doing particularly well atm. But it's still early and they got time to improve a lot.

I think the precedent and example this sets is the most exciting thing.

I hope everyone is 100% supportive of FXO, as they have some great players and they are going to the best place to improve.

If it goes well, perhaps more teams will follow suit!

Happy to see a foreign team getting involved with the GSTL, regardless of results it hopefully sets a good precedent that this can be done, and hopefully the FXO team and players got a lot out of their stay too!
