Is it me that find this results a bit suprising?

Thorzain for instance seems a player perfect for GSL because if he has time to prepare he will make something happen and have a very good strategy prepared for the player and matchup like he did in TSL. Everytime he plays a normal tournament, where you just play a crap load of players, races and maps he just can't make it and fails..

The biggest suprise for me is Morrow loosing the chance to go and SaSe becoming so good and so fast!

Anyways Sweden is probably the best SC2 nation besides Korea, just look at these and then add Sjow, Jinro and Haypro! lol..

This tournament is a very interesting idea!

this was when Thorzain had weakness in his TvT, he lost quite a few TvTs iirc.. i know for sure he lost 0-2 to "mover" who I don't know anything about. Morrow is pretty weak in PvZ, at the time a lot of zergs were struggling (more than now) and SaSe is extremely skilled and a ladder beast (not unlike Kas )

grats SaSe

Aw yeeeee, feels good to have another Swede in the GSL. I hope SaSe can prove himself worthy of his spot in Korea!

Congratulations to Sase. Kind of sad that Naniwa didn't win as I think he'd turn out to be top code-S material. Sase can definitely do well though.

Naniwa can still go to Korea. If he wins MLG he gets auto seeded into Code S.

Direct link to VODs for about half the amount of matches can be found at http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/The_Road_to_Korea (all with Swedish commentary).

Unfortunately VODs for some of the games were never uploaded but you can at least find SaSe vs MorroW, Cytoplasm, Thorzain(off race), Mover, Bischu and Naniwa.

Will Sase go to korea with Naniwa/Thorzain/Fenix or what's up? I thought he was originally going for GSL July but that obviously didn't happen.

I hope thorzain relaxes a little. He had talked about arthritis for a while. I know any kind of wrist pain or finger pain is a huge problem while playing sc2.

Hopes naniwa goes to Korea he really seems to want to play better. This would probably give hime amazing experience as a pro sc2 gamer especially in lan situations.

NaNiwa has already confirmed that he's going to Korea. Infact he's heading there now, or might have already arrived, as he said he would go sometime in the middle of July.
