Noted that it is still only Group Play and not the Grand Finals in the NASL, but Zenio and the Emperor certainly deserve that measure of perfection, no? A few more tweaks and I think this article is well on its way there. Well that review was written by someone far more skilled and experienced than me, but i will work on it. I could definitely do with some pictures of the players and the map list as used boesthius's post.

Good stuff, but it could use better formatting. Paragraphs and spacing between them maybe?

Hey Surili,
I mean I was expecting a review of all the 3 games ; but you're focusing on the 3rd one (which is not a bad idea at all, it's just that I thought given your introduction you would review all the 3 games equall). Well, it's true too that there's nothing to focus about on the first one since Zenio left so quickly ; but I'ld had liked to have some more details about the 2 nd one, since you give us a peak of the very good strategies that the Emperor did. By spatial organization, I meant something like a spatial trick to show us you're focusing on the game 3.
I'm sure next time it will be even more awesome .
I really like the hype aspect as well ! I really do love pre-hype threads that exists for example in Broodwar like the flamewheel article "Dial D for Death". I'm sure it's even possible to do post-hype game. It's always possible to ellaborate using your knowledges of others matches (for example : this game reflect the style of IMLosira, something like that) ; historical references (BW, modern strategy), or just unrelated stuff (cf FruitDealer's GSL # 1 final article posted above).
So I'm not against at all some kind of general hype-in conclusion !!!

Fair enough, it is true that i cut the review of the second game a bit short, but i didn't want the review to drag on. Do you think i could get away with making the whole post longer? I know how short peoples TL:DR spans can be
As for more analysis, i would have to think about that more, after all i am not a terran or zerg player, so i wouldn't want to comment too much about that, and the aim of this is to have other people talking about the games. That said, i still think i should have tried to look a bit deeper into the games, but without control of the camera all the information i have the casters are currently looking at, so without being able to see the replay instead of the vod i am not sure how much more i could add.

Very nicely done man, dont listen to the people who complain about typos's. You succeeded in getting your message across and that's all that matters! .... (Also, if it helps, one typo is located in the sentence "Here is a peak of some of the abuse boxer was pulling off on the old version of Tal'darim,")
i thought have it as "peak" was a nice little unintentional pun because of where boxer's marines were

I meant not especially analysis you know, but pure hype . You can write about the players , the game itself ... without especially analyzing in details the strategy but you know... Just express how awesome the context is. Hm I'm not sure if I'm really clear, but please have a look about some brood war final edits to understand my purpose if you need.

I don't know, I think it's a matter of preferences. When the style is good, I really like long edits.

Need to take a page out of iNcontrol's book on hyping. Maybe if i announce that i will be announcing that i will be doing more of these later it would help? :D
I will try to read more stuff by other people, as i have before, and they are of much better quality than mine. Got any favourites that you can link me?

Thanks so much, i will try to, maybe i could do a weekly review of a match i saw during the week, regardless of whether TL give me the post or not? Or maybe Bi-weekly? does bi weekly mean twice a week or every other week? i meant twice a week.
I love finding responses of people saying they liked it, so thanks

Great writeup! We need more of this, since there is no possibility in the world to watch all games from the pro leagues.

Re-formated much of it, adding photos of the players, and the map list.

I was very disappointed by Boxers play - yes, he is very creative and has very good Unit-Control, but c'mon, floating THAT many minerals as a ProGamer is IMHO a joke. I don't know what happened there, but even if Boxers Macro is definitely his weakness, those games were pretty embarrassing and I definitely think if he'd really work on his Macro (which basically just means focused training), he could be one of the very best players in the world.
It's not like SC2-Macro is that hard, so even as a bad SC:BW-Macro-Player that used to play on a very high level I'd expect him to do much better.

Good to get an opportunity to actually talk about the games. Which game are you referring to? I will re-watch them probably at some point, but in the tal'darim game he lost a lot of his production, and after that any player's money starts to get high. But what you say in general is true i think, and i would love to see him work on it more.
As for Zenio, he is somehow a player who in general i have just missed out on, but he was excellent in those games and i hope to see much more of him. I particularly would like to see his pvp style, style, i'll be checking out the vods for his other games in the NASL.
I also think that Boxer either performs really well or really badly, games aren't springing to mind right now, but whenever i sit down to watch him, i am either really disappointed or really hyped up about it, i am not talking about win/lose, because obviously he lost this series, but just in general. Makes me a little sad. Maybe it was the Hasuobs series? when he just lost big time and that was over. The mis-control (or more correctly lack of control by the watch tower on crevasse(?) may well have just been lag, but i seem to remember i wasn't overly impressed.

i might be the only one but i see so many errors and it is difficult to read. i will send you some fixes.

For clarity and structure, you should more clearly divide your write-up in game 1 , 2 and 3. On top of that, while having a two enlarged picturse of the NASL casters might be funny, it is nor relevant to the game itself. Instead of having two enlarged pictures of the NASL casters, use a small picture as a result after the game, you have more pictures of the NASL casters then the game itself. (Granted it is 2:1 but still,). If you want to get a dramatic effect going with the expressions of the NASL casters, use the spoiler tag:
E.G: , The game was so good that it made Incontrol go: ,(Enter spoilered picture, with a cursified message under the picture, such as, Incontrol approves). Because right now the pictures take half if not more then half the space on the article itself.

This actually isn't the case, i have 3 images of the games (1 for each game) and 2 of the casters, 1 because it was funny and the other because i was talking about the casters at the end.
Perhaps you didn't open the spoilers but there are screenshots of the games in there too, which i didn't want to ruin in case people hadn't seen them.
You are right that i should have had titles separating the games though.
Thanks for the input.

Nice write-up of the games. I really feel that you give a more concise overview of the games than some articles, which in my opinion is a good thing.
One thing I will mention is how your writing almost tries too hard to be enthusiastic; the almost unendingly relentless frequent use of fantastical adjectives might come across slightly wrong. (^_^)
Props go to you for the pictures though. I didn't at all feel they were irrelevant to the text and overall I thought it was well written, despite minor crap like lowercase 'i's.
Now write-up some protoss games haha. =D

Too enthusiastic. Nope, not buying it. No such thing. The capital I's thing is something I have developed from writing essays too often in word and open office, it capitalises them for me so I have never bothered. Hence why all the uncapitalised ones are from edits in such as the first paragraph or the picture comments.
I would love to do a protoss one next, maybe with more analysis, maybe not. Now the trouble becomes choosing a match to cast. I have some time free for the next few days so I think I will do one tonight. I am leaning towards another NASL one, because i love those guys, looking at the schedule, there is:
Morrow vs Moon, two players who i like a lot, Moon won me over at IEM and Morrow has been a beast forever. That said, ZvZ I am not overly up for casting so I think i will give it a miss.
Sheth vs TLO, hmmm, very tempting, these guys are great, Sheth was really cool on the daily recently as well as on State of the Game a couple of months back, and TLO, well it's TLO. Plus he is a part of Team Liquid. ZvT
Grubby vs Vibe, well I have a lot of hope for Grubby to do well in SC2, as I did follow the competitive scene of WC3 a little from time to time, but I know literally nothing about Vibe, I even had to check the NASL website just to see his race, which isn't something I have to do often in competitive Starcraft 2, making this match a PvZ.
Rainbow vs Kiwikaki, Rainbow as a player I am pretty ambivalent about, I haven't seen anything of his that makes him stand out, but Kiwikaki is known for his original strategies, and made it to the final of the IPL this week, so this could definitely turn into an entertaining game. PvT
Fenix vs Artosis, wow there are gonna be a lot of good matches going on tonight, Fenix, the first player I ever watched in Starcraft 2 (after David Kim on the battlereports) ^.^ who I have another special love for because he is from Peru, which I visited a few years back, up against a man with something to prove, the man, the myth, the legend, Artosis. PvT
Decisions, decisions. Well if anyone has any requests I'll do any game that you guys want, otherwise, I'll watch the games and choose one I liked. I would prefer to pick beforehand so I can make some predictions if possible though. Interestingly, all three of the non-mirror match ups are going on tonight, so should be fun
Edit: Dammit, I managed to catch all but 1 of the "i"s as I was typing this...

Solid job. Here are some corrections that jumped out at me:
"Anywho, as always, I was very excited for this match up." (about)
"An early pool with drones added to the rush only to arrive at Boxer’s base to find it walled in. This left Zenio to immediately GG which left Incontrol wondering whether anything that he hypes can possibly turn out the way he hopes." (This isn't written as well as the rest of the text)
"In game 3 Boxer played a cocky two racks opening, in full view of Zenio’s overlord, which prompted to Zenio reraise by opening Hatch first." (rax, Zenio to)
"The Thumb’s Down dance has yet to become a meme, but I have hope." (no apostrophe)
"Here is a peek of some of the abuse boxer was pulling off on the old version of Tal'darim" (at)
"I always did feel he should have played zerg." (felt)
"First Boxer opened exactly as Zenio had hoped he would have done in the first game, and then he continued on that route despite letting the zerg see it, only for Zenio to unflinchingly continue his economic opening, planning on defending the pressure using only drones." (had hoped he would; also sentence is a bit long)
