That is why companies finance racing teams (which are a huge cash dump due to required research & developtment). One part of success is mere brand presence. It benefits FXO in the long run for their name to be simply known. By the time the majority of the audience graduates, they will earn money themselves and possibly looking into ways of investment. If done right- and so far FXO has displayed quite a level of professionalism and general "smoothness" of their events and engagements, people might subconsciously tie that experience to their corporate services and products. At the very least, it is highly probable. | ||

Seriously though, living in a house like that, with servants, discussing and playing Starcraft? This is a nerd dream. There's no comparison between this and Korean player houses, this is more like a player villa! | ||

I think a guy who runs a company which is succesful enough to spend thousands of dollars monthly into an e-sports team has enough common sense to test internet speed and oversea routing before laying money on the table for the house. It's great having guys like him around in the e-sport scene who not only have the passion, but also the money, to put something up. And who also has enough generosity to grant his players that sort of luxury. Because, again, if you look at the korean team "houses" you wouldn't really think that there is much money on the table. This definitely helps e-sport a lot and make it look much bigger than the korean scene. | ||
