edit: But i'd be super pissed if I stepped outside one day after getting scv marine all in'd to take a breather and end up getting eaten by a god damn tiger or something.
I got a good chuckle after reading that, well played sir.

Is FXOpen hiring someone to be a fitness trainer for the players at that house? :D Salary can come in the form of zerg lessons from sheth! :D
seriously really nice house, amazing job on it, and grats to the players and FXOboss on getting to live there Looks like an awesome place to live in with a bunch of friends/teammates!

Man, I wish I was a pro gamer... Such a nice place to live!

How can they profit if they invest so much into a sc2 team with these luxury? Do they get anything out of this (Or is it just purely advertisement)?
There is a chance they make money in the long run
But I would bet this is not just about making money. It is about an activity which a sucessfull business man enjoys.
Companies spend tons of money sponsoring events. For example Richard Branson spends millions sponsoring a virgin sailing team, because he enjoys sailing.
It is good to be the king, companies sponsor every sporting event under the sun, why not SC2 ?
I applauded FXO for being one of the first companies to step up and support the scene. If I was a multi-millionaire I would do the same thing.

with that space it can probably fit in 4 different korean teams under 1 roof with one giant lan hub.
cant wait to see what it will look like after the renovations
and u should totally post that porcshe with the fxo branding, kelly showed me a few of the pics on her phone was so sick

That is a pretty sick house, nice =D
|
Fucking sicc house, from the images that places looks damn nice

this is like some scarface shit lmao

I saw this thread when it came out and im still shocked at how amazing a house they bought/rented. I think everyone progammer in the world wishes he was on the FXO roster right now lol..
compare any pro house to this and it gets smashed.

isnt Malaysia kinda far from any tournaments they would be going to? isnt it cheeper to just pick korea or the US and get cheep flights domestically. instead you are now going to have reasonably high priced flights for all the tournaments you go to. not to mention any jet lag and fatigue when you take the long flights to the US and EU. seems kinda silly to me. i know the house there must be cheep to rent but still that doesnt seem to out weigh the negative.

That's just a figure of speech. Bnet has inbuilt latency of 125ms ( or was it 150ms)? So zero lag probably mean 125 ms as that's as good as anyone can get. Even if you live next to the server with the most imbalanced internet ever.
Well done FXO. It's nice to see a team that takes very good care of its team. Hopefully someone will translate this into PlayXP or something. Who knows there will be some Koreans who got jealous and wanna move in. FXOMKP! Yes and the point is that they live on the other side of the world on top of that. I dont get people like u, i mean is ur life sooooo miserable and empty that u actually have to troll THIS team and house EVEN thought del and fxopen said that there will be NO lag and its their homebase of operations. I mean this is the best house ever in the history of esport and u have to troll it because ur an expert on fucking internet in Malaysia and u know everything there is to know about Kuala Lumpur and ur 100% sure that del and fxopen have no idea what they are doing because their house is not in fucking America but it is in Malaysia. Stupid troll. Im not sure what it has to with my life but anyway the point is that there is lag from NA to Korea. Thats a fact. Now, how do you expect there to be less lag from Malaysia that have worse infrastucture and is located further away from NA ? Im not saying it cuz I hate FXO but Im just pointing out a problem they most likely experiance. Ill leave the happy go lucky part to you. Ok,so u think that there is no internet provider in the world that can get u internet strong enough to have 0 lag from NA to KR or other way around... think again. Money can buy all, even 0 latency internet to all 3 servers
I don't think that money can increase the speed of light.

I would like FXO to pick me up, thanks.

Malasia huh what server will the players play on KR?

House looks amazing. Wish I could live there and play sc2 all day long with other pros

wow, very beautiful home!!

Let's see here. They already had the house for 2 years prior, so they decided to use it. A house this size in the U.S. would be in the millions. In Korea, it would probably be very expensive as well. Tickets from the U.S. to Europe/Asia are usually $1k-$1.5k easily. Most major tournaments in the U.S. take place online (NASL, IPL) and the major tournaments outside of the U.S. are much closer to Malaysia than the US. It would actually be more expensive to have a house in the U.S. and fly people out to Korea/Europe where more and more tournaments are held each year.

The house is too good for playing sc all day lol
|
cool, looks like a place where mafias live. lol
|
Really nice house! But the location did bring some doubt. I understand Kuala Lampur as a place of business and accessibility but the internet there? It's hard to take your word for it. I've lived in Thailand for 3 years and know that internet in SEA has latency issues. I don't know much about the internet in Malaysia but I hope it's better.
Btw speed test results would put an end to this topic.
