For anyone that was there during the event and sitting close enough to the top where the control room was, it was me (Max) and Marcus sitting there inside the booth handling all the production for the livestream and what was going on inside the actual venue. It was our first time ever attempting something like this so things got quite hectic from time to time and people at the top row seats could probably hear us shouting stuff frantically like "film the audience!" or "we need close up of player one!" all the time. I was in charge of the overlay and video production (SC2 UI, Names, graphics, films, trailers) and Marcus was the camera director, making sure we had plenty of good angles to film from and directing the ground-crew back and forth. We've been reading through ALL the comments and we'd like to say how heart warming it is to see such support and love for our work. We didn't have much training, and almost no knowledge in broadcast production, but we managed alright and we only had some minor hickups. Unfortunately for some people the stream wasn't optimal at all times (lag, sound glitches etc) but they seem to have been localized to certain areas of Europe and the Americas and as you probably already understand that was beyond our reach. Right now it's all hands on deck for DreamHack Summer 2011 during the 18-21st of June and we're going to bring the same A-game there too! From Max (Mulleboy) and Marcus (Lindmark) and everyone at DreamHack, one huge virtual high-five! .o/ // Mulleboy, DH

Keep doing such awesome and fun stuff in the future. And if you could give some pointers to NASL production how to improve that would be a great boon for the sc2 community ![]()

The event was one of the best SC2 tournaments so far (from a stream viewers perspective) and now you're telling us that you are new to this streaming and production stuff? I hope you just stay on that level. You don't even need to improve. Many other need to reach that level first. I had problems with the stream too but it's justin.tv. Lot's of people have problems with their service. Besides you had this newspaper stream running simultaneous so this wasn't a big deal like it is/was for NASL, reddit open etc where they only rely on justin.tv.

Everyone at DreamHack are just blown away by last Tuesday and the appreciation and L O V E you keep giving us. I give you my word, as a Swede and as a fellow eSports fan, that we will continue to give you all the awesomeness you are entitled to. We may have been under the radar for a lot of you, but know that we have been "practicing" for the last 10 years with our small events DreamHack Summer and Winter. Mulle is correct in that we never attempted what we did before, and that we're not pros.... We are DreamHack baby! /Robert Ohlén, genuis by association with DH team.
