It is saddening to see such a huge organization not only enter the scene super late but also hire only unknown to semi-unknown players. It's a gamble. There are some pretty "unknown" players smashing known ones in the TSL, maybe (probably) these guys know something we don't.
I'd argue that while some persons like Thorzain were not that well known, they have been established high level players all the time, maybe not as much known to the more casual spectator but skillwise on top.
These players are definitely a tier behind the top players - which can change quickly if they are provided with enough support to play full time (which I think the players from SK aren't)

There are some skilled Ukrainian players scattered around across European teams, so maybe, with a money injection, they can lure some of them in in order to strengthen their lineup. But whereas I understand that NaVi is quite a name in Counterstrike, for now I highly doubt they can set foot into the top tier of the Eastern European teams that are ImbaFXO, RoX and Empire. These teams must be the line of measurement for NaVi in the future. Nonetheless, good lock to NaVi, it's always good to see some big esport-names taking interest in SC2.

The arbalet guy who supported the navi cs team with anything want is stopping his support at the end of this year i do believe i read...... so maybe NaVi can't afford the big 4 without the richman? interested to see how they do however

Babyknight? DotA Babyknight? This guy used to have some sick SF play, curious to see him play SC2 now.

This statement is absolutely untrue. There have been numerous times when players got in trouble because of existing contracts, and so far they always turned out to be valid.

well about happyzerg - i casted 30-40 games when he was playing in my or other tours here on the EU server - good, solid zerg play -nothing too fancy tho and about navi targeting empire people + dimaga - i would not be too sure about it - empire is gaining more and more fame atm with the recent success (kas stomping tsl) and newest additions (nerchio, happy etc.)
but ill guess ... time will tell

Is Arbalet still sponsoring Na`Vi? I heard that he only sponsoring Na`Vi CS team until 2011.

Thought this would be cool since their CS team was pretty good... Don't recognize any of those players...

Is CrazyPanda BratOK's brother?

Same here. I think i have seen happyzerg doing fairly good on the ladder, never heared of the other guys.

Indeed. And i dont think that NaVi will offer that much money that whitera would leave his contract with duckload even tho navi has one of the best cs-teams in the world.

Na`Vi CEO ZeroGravity has talked about this in interviews before hinted that it's unlikely due to transfer fees and such. Here's an interview from IEM Kiev which touches on the subject: http://www.rakaka.se/index.php?newsID=15947

erm to guys who are talking about navi signing big ukrainian players, they realy cant, Arbalet is only going to support na`navi till the end of 2011, so i doubt that they could offer more money to those big ukrainian players than they'r current teams.

I too expected them to grab some big name players. That said Na'Vi is far from a huge organization yet, they were build off of their CS team and have a big name rich singular sponsor in the Arbalet family, but they are by no means an established G7-esque team like SK is.
It's too bad they couldn't grab all the ukrainian players, would have been super super epic.
