Plaster all the commercials you want on the free stream on free vod's on free content. The act of shelling out money for a product should allow me to bypass those commercials be they two minutes or 5 seconds. Just the way I feel.

Ah yes, I'm thinking more of Sky Sports over here. (NA basic cable makes sports far more accessible than satellite here in Ireland).

commercials on a paid vod? = instacancel i can't do streams because i can't sit in front of the computer and watch for hours, but any time vods are available for esports ill buy them to support SC2. but i won't pay for commercials out of principle. mentioning player sponsors and teams is fine & displaying logos on announcer tables or whatever is fine and gets companies the exposure they need, interrupting broadcasting for commercials is bullshit if you're going to charge. at the very least, have a super cheap level with some advertising & more expensive with none

Hopefully there will be a free stream or pirated vods like there are for the GSL ![]() Wow really? I seriously hope you're trolling cuz $20 for 3 months of entertainment is such a good deal it's not even funny. Lets just consider movies for example, that's $15 for 2hrs of entertainment, sometimes it's really bad. Or even the infamous WoW, that's about $15 per month and this is 3 months -_____- And I hope re-streaming and posting links of pirated vods will be bannable so if everyone really want to help e-sports grow, we need to support it (I completely understand waiting a day or week before buying it though) Edit: After reading more posts, I think people are just trolling all over the place and probably hoping for some serious response from Russ or Incontrol

I believe hockey football basketball baseball packages are much much more. like 150 a season, yes you get everygame, but they still have commercials do they not? Theres down time inbetween periods etc, so theres commercials, whats wrong with that? also, $20, for 5matchs a night, 25 a week, which is 225matchs, its insane. THATS NOT EVEN INCLUDING THE FINAL 16. 225 matchs is at least 500 games of content for 20$, i dunno how thats not a good deal?

Every value of entertainment isn't a fixed number. Its like comparing the price of UFC ($50 PPV?) with the replay value of SC2.

They've got sponsors to pay for the league, or are the "sponsors" really just "investors". I understand paying for Korean content in english, I do not understand paying for english content, in english. Isn't it free to watch SCBW and SC2 in Korea? Depends on the event but typically yes if you can make it to the studio. You don't see all the booths they have setup that offer you cellphones, financial advice if bank sponsor etc. at the event.

I doubt very much its going be "OH HUGE ENGAGEMENT INCOMIN-" *and now a word from our sponsors* Hell that would be exactly the same as the breaks during the GSL.
