Watch Frag documentary, and hear about any 'pro house' ever in existence outside of Korea and it's rarely had support from teams. From what I remember on Catz's stream a while back, he got the place and was paying his share of rent and his parents were subsidizing the other parts until he got roommates, then drewbie came in, and soon fenix/tt1 will be too. doesn't take rich parents, just supportive parents.

So I guess these parents are supporting them, b/c they can hardly earn enough to pay for this just by gaming/coaching(or maybe)? ;p Anyways, awesome house guys.

Or....they CAN support themselves via team salary (if they receive one), ad revenue from streaming, coaching, in kiwikaki's case poker (although I don't believe he's staying there after MLG?), and the occassional tournament winnings. Rent on a 4-5 bedroom apartment would be obscene compared to a 2 bedroom place lol.

I don't see why rent would be a problem if they streamed enough. Destiny mentioned in a reddit interview or Q&A that he made 3.5k a month streaming. Surely CatZ and Drewbie and Kiwi all streaming could earn about that much. Cover rent easily, maybe hire a housekeeper once a week, and get a bed in a separate room from other young men. I shared a room my first year of university, I'd never go back to that. Rent on a 4-5 bedroom apartment would be obscene compared to a 2 bedroom place lol.
