I know Sjow have expressed interest in going to Korea this year so I assume he will make a serious effort to win this competition.

I hope Sjow, Morrow, or Naniwa takes this as I feel they're the best players currently living in Sweden (and conveniently the each play a different race). If one of them wins and really dedicates themselves to improving as much as possible the second they get to Korea, I think they'd have a good shot at doing pretty well.

So nani isn't playing? Sweden doesn't have any other good protoss' except possibly bischu, so I would be very very surprised in morrow didn't take this. If he wants to go, that is.

Sase is quickly becoming a massive beast, been nr1 world for last like month, hes a massive dark horse for this

Does anyone know if nani is competiting?, his style really suits korea imo
The naniwa - Unit of protoss skill, defined as the number of gates you build off of one base

Even tho i don't like Morrow that much, i'd like to see his performance in the GSL/korean ladder. But Sjow should get this opportunity. By far one of the best players in Eu/swe. After Jinro of course

I guess Sjow and Morrow are favourites but I would not be surprised if Seiplo or Lalush took it.

Lalush is one of my favorite zergs and he's been playing very well lately. Can't wait to hear him casting - hopefully in a very biased way. Artosis doesn't seem to be zerg biased anymore and I'm missing it

Thats because Artosis swithced to protoss did he not?

I'm pretty sure MorroW doesn't graduate from high school until june, so I doubt he'll even want to go to Korea, but who knows. It's kind of disappointing that two of the better players are casting, as it would've been nice to see them in the tournament
Is it possible to watch this live (live as in IRL, not on a live stream) somewhere, or is it an online tournament?
Great sponsors as well. Webhallen is such an awesome store for everything gaming related.
This is so awesome for the Swedish scene as well, as I feel it's one of the very best in Europe. I'm so pumped for this!

edit: Oh I didn't read the dates properly. Go go morrow to korea!

LaLush and NaNiwa will have possibilities to attend the tournament, they aren't restricted to only cast games. Who knows maybe they even are invited.

What a great initiative! I like this set-up, it's a very creative way of finding and nurturing new talent.

Since he's born 92 he should end high school at the end of may/beginning of june, but I guess you noticed that already. :p

Also, it's Logitech that brought up the idea to do this tournament, it's really nice when there's people within big companies that tries to make something like this.

Skillwise I think it's really hard to put a favorite however, when it comes to pressure and not choking, it's Morrow all the way.

Naniwa and Sjow are very very good but their play just kinda dips in periods alot more.

Naniwa
SjoW
MorroW
Lalush
Thorzain
SaSe

If I had to make a bet I'd put my money on Naniwa clutching it out. Hoping for Thorzain, MorroW Lalush, though.
