I'd love to read any proof that MULEs aren't an advantage. Have you got a link to a thread?

mules are as much as an advantage as larvae injection is, dont u understand that each race has different advantages, thats the whole point and u seem to be missing or ignoring that.

Also, some people that are complaining about the Collosus not being nerfed but the HT's being nerfed.

I think Blizzard thought that Collosi are balanced in TvP but are "under review" in PvZ (as in, questioning whether it is imbalanced or if people need to adapt), so they didn't change the Collosi. If Collosi is indeed ruining the PvZ match up, expect a corruptor buff, not a Collosi nerf.

i think the alarm for CB,Mule and larva injection is a bad joke. It`s so unnecessary to simplify the economy.

And for the other stuff you mentioned - yeah, races are different, get over it. I cannot use mules to get out an important upgrade or unit faster and neither can i use a mule to produce 7 workers at once. But in terms of economy/income, mules DO NOT give terran an advantage, they just compensate for the other races' macro mechanics.

Page after page of stats posted to TL say otherwise: Mules are a huuuuuuuge advantage, from the moment they are available to through to the end of the game. Watch Terran early-game income skyrocket over P and Z when the OC finishes, and see the tactical advantage of Mule use in the later game. Mules mitigate worker harass (they need to be replaced anyway), allow oversaturation, are safe to neglect (spammable), and can even be called down to repair.

SC2 actually makes me ill sometimes with how OP Terran is... but this is common knowledge.

Apologize for playing that race!

Hey again, I have a very important question:

When previous patches have been tested on the PTR, have all the changes always gone through to the actual patch? If not, have many of the changes are usually dropped? What I'm asking is - is it possible that the Amulet change will not bli implemented, but the Terran nerfs will?

Assuming Blizzard checks the stats on the PTR and notices a very low PvT win rate, they might do this? Yes?

Yay.. now us Protoss have to wait for our HT to get enough energy for storm.

This balances the late game how?

Basically Blizaard doesn't want us reinforcing our shitty Gateway units with HT. So now when we need reinforcements during a battle we wont even think about trying to warp-in HT for they will be utterly useless as they only have feedback and the ability to morph in to a blue meat shield. We know this isn't set in stone but that doesn't mean this doesn't need discussing. Boom.

you do know there is such a thing as a colossus right ?

oh shit i totally forgot protoss can warp in a bunch of colossi to reinforce after both party lost majority of their forces!

Im hoping the amulet change in ptr is like the last bunker change that was stupid and even they knew it, so they didint put it.

And btw, colosus tech doesnt need a nerf, zerg needs a buff to counter it instead, something that force the protoss to at least, take care of the colossi and micro them (corruptor buff <3)

It's not just versus Zerg. Collossi deathballs are a huge problem in every PvX matchup. Once they reach critical mass there's basically nothing you can do to stop it. It's just that terran and protoss have better ways to stop the protoss from getting there.

It is possible it won't go through.
There was a infestor nerf where fungal didn't affect air. A whole lot of Zerg were outraged, and it was removed. I think in the same patch, there was a bunker buff that got removed as well.

ehm... am I understading this change correct ?

- Orders issued to unload units from a Medivac onto itself can now be canceled if the Medivac is scanning for units to heal.

does this mean if someone move drop their medivac I can just poke one of the marines and it will stop ? ...

Would it even affect how a Terran plays in the slightest? It's not like they only call down the next MULE when their previous one dies.

Hmm, interesting. All nerfs seem fair imo, what sucks for me as terran imo is that yeah I see why the stim nerf would be needed to make very fast terran stim timing allins weaker. The problem is that stim finishing was the only thing that kept me alive against 4 gate or 3 gate robo allins with sentries to negate bunkers. It seems that I will now die to every single 4 gate.

mules let you oversaturate. they let you target one expansion specifically to milk it fast if it's in a risky position. they let you use them when you forget with no punishment, they let you recover your economy after being worker harassed unlike any other race (how many screenshots have we seen of 1 base remaining T with more income than 2 or 3 base P or Z, thanks to multiple mules)

Need I go on?

Other races macro features have more punishment ? Maybe zergs' has, but last i checked, energy piled up on nexi just like on orbitals. Either way, it's more like a disadvantage zergs have than an advantage terran/protoss have.

Not true, because when protoss miss chronoboosts, protoss is way behind on timings and unit counts. Chronoboost is not a "bonus", as it only lets you keep up with the other races, if you don't use it you WILL lose, you just won't have enough shit. Plus, chronoboosts cannot be used on the same structure at the same time if I miss some. Say I have 100/100 energy pooled up, I cant insta boost my 1 collossus 4 times.

I wouldn't say Collosi is as much of a problem in TvP as they are in PvZ because of the difference between the Corruptor range and the Viking range.

Corruptors have to get within Stalker range to hit the collosi so they get focused down. Vikings can sit back and hit them so Collosi get picked off fairly quickly, and if you have like 10 of them I think you 1 shot collosi.

Deathball includes VRs. If you have enough VRs you just engage terran, you dont wait for vikings to pick off your army. I think that HT nerf makes this build the most viable in non-mirror matchups.

I can't build units either if i miss the minerals due to a missed mule.

"Chronoboost is not a "bonus", as it only lets you keep up with the other races, if you don't use it you WILL lose"

The same can be said for mule. Case closed.
