Xeris is the team manager for fnatic. When NASL decides to pick its 50 players will Xeris excuse himself when it comes to the fnatic players? Same with Incontrol when it comes to EG, gretorp with fnatic, Russ with players connected to gosucoaching, etc.

For me it's the same wether it's soccer, the olympics or e-sports, always prefered live before replays... Not sure if you just chose your words poorly, or if you are mistaken, but games will not be cast from replays. They will be cast live, as the players are playing. They will just be broadcast at a later time, with no one outside the players and NASL employees knowing the results (including match histories on Battle.Net.)

In-person casters have tried three varying styles of dress: semi-professional blazers, casual t-shirts, and extremely casual hoodies. I can't access the clash of the titans showmatch, but I see to recall Gretorp wearing a blazer and Incontrol wearing a hoodie. Going forward, which style is the NASL going to adopt. Will there be any sort of standardization?

We are aware of that ![]() In my opinion a pr rep would be a big waste of limited funds at this point, definitely down the road it would be good though. I think having one or two people do the talking would be good though so people know who to look for for a reply. You mentioned possible online casters, any criteria on how that will be handled, or is it a sit and wait kind of deal as I can imagine it's not a major concern at the moment?

Will there be a way for the average fan to get more involved with NASL in general ? Will there be contests of sorts like "Win a signed mousepad of PIQLIQ" kinda stuff ?

Not necessarily a suit or blazer, but a shirt and tie.

Casters have traditionally had free-style roles. Despite usually and naturally falling into the category of "Play-By-Play" and "Strategist", casters have been able to say what they please. For a long time, there has been a cry to try a style of commentary where one caster is "locked" into the role of play-by-play, with secondary commentators only brought in during the broadcast to give an update on the strategist side of the game. This is a style professional sports broadcasts follow, but it is unproven and untested in starcraft. Which casting style will the NASL follow?

Is players abusing votes going to factor into whose selected for the league, or will they be selected based on vote count and other relevant info? I know that no one is abusing, but find it slightly suspicious that Avilo has more votes than anyone else, and that Destiny and Trump are so high. None of these players are exceptionally skilled, despite Avilo's insistence that he can consistently....once in a while when he gets lucky....consistently like that... beats top players - so can any other relatively good player (I'm not even top 200 and I've beaten Axslav, HuK, Antimage, and MoMan on ladder and in clan wars).

He apologizes, you tell him his apology isn't enough, he asks what more he can do, and you essentially tell to fuck off. If you're not happy with his apology already, you're likely never going to be happy with any thing iNcontroL's involved in, because at this point it seems like nothing he could say or do will ever make you forgive him for his horrendous behavior. I honestly think there's a campaign against him, a unjust and stupid campaign but a campaign none the less. I know incontrol is one of the main reason I'll be buying a ticket to NASL. He's a good guy, I know he can act professional, just watch interviews of him when he's repping for EG. I'm not a moron that can understand that NASL is not the State of the Game or incontrol's personal stream. He'll step up to the task and preform within the expectation outline for NASL. The people complaining about incontrol, do they honestly think NASL staff is not spending hours setting up equipment, discussing caster interaction, talking about how to develop back stories for the players and more? Give the guy a freaking break. He has provided countless hours of free content for you to enjoy. He apologize for a obvious joke and trying to share some personality with you. Heck, if someone terrible like myself got into NASL I'm sure he'll fluff the hell out of my awful play. This thread has gotten disgusting with all the hate incontrol receiving and has become like so many other threads. Posting just to be right and not actually trying to improve the product they're trying to provide to us for free. NASL hasn't happen yet, incontrol does cast pretty regularly and does a solid job with it. I'm sure the experience of NASL will improve everyone that casts in it. Now, to actually talk about NASL. Don't be unreasonable, GSL wasn't perfect in the first season. There were a lot of mistakes. I still remember staring at a empty carven on Xel Naga for quite some time from the first season of GSL. They will need feed back, but saying it's terrible and can't be fix before it even happens is just bad. Question: Since there's been talk about the poll being compromised, are their plans to relaunch a more secure poll or are you just rolling with the punches? When will the next official announcement be made? Will it contain more detail information about how brackets are set up and possibly what players are selected? To NASL staff how urgent is player selection and announcing the selected players? The pre-season questions is live on your site, will you be sharing these videos of those who applied before NASL season or waiting for the season to begin? Thank you for providing this for free, I know I'll be buying a ticket.

I think the problem is that PR/Communication can be a full time job, because a single person has to make sure there is a consistent understanding of what is happening across the board, or know what issues are yet to be fully resolved and how they should be addressed. Right now, it seems you guys have too many things on the go to coordinate your communication. It's not evil or anything. No sad face required.

Due to latency, casting teams have often been limited to 2. Being in-person opens the door for more casters, but could cause problems if their roles are not clearly defined. Are there any plans to have more than 2 commentators present per broadcast for the NASL?

Advertisements, will there be a possibility for companies (mainly PC gear) to advertise their mice, graphic cards, keyboards etc on your show, perhaps a way to generate some extra revenue. You could get some hot babes to parade around the hardware, or even have pro players advertise it in some sort of deal.

How will qualifications for S1 differ from S2, S3? (I know season 1 is invite only, and i think some number of people get cut for S2; just wondering if NASL is always be a purely invite-only league. (Sorry I do realize this is not 100% since there is a tourney for 1 seed)

I am about the same age as you and have been playing RTS games for ~12 years, and I have always dreamed of something like the NASL coming to the US and not just happening in Korea. What you guys are doing is a great and I think it has the potential to change the way hardcore gamers are viewed in the US. As soon as the NASL starts and people realize how awesome it is, I think all of the hate and jealousy will blow over. Just stay strong until then and keep working to make NASL amazing and everything will work out great.

Korea has already shown interest in the NASL with their netizen comments. Are there any plans to add Korean translations? Are there any plans to add Korean commentators? Will the NASL allow third-party subtitles or redubs? Will the NASL allow rehosting of free VODs?

"iNcontroL/Gretorp cast the game, very exciting huzzah, game ends. PiP screen pops open with Sean Plott for a brief analysis of his opinion of the game." "New map is introduced one month. Short segment with Artosis giving a 'bio' on the map and the current status of it in ladder/tournaments." Feel free to use the ideas. I'll give more for no cost!
