If you actually got a prompt to replace the previous dds when you dropped it in to the mpq and you're still seeing the old dds, then it doesn't make any sense that it wouldn't work :S You could have just cancelled it by mistake, or opened the battle.net-patch.mpq. That dds has definitely been working for others. All I can suggest is that you try again. | ||

I did not do the fancy fading he showed me but rather took an image i enjoyed, re-sized it to fit perfectly on the screen, and just inserted that. Looks great, works great. Thanks One thing the blog fails to mention is that all the DDS files are under the "shared" folder. It is in order based on first number/letter so its easy to find the proper DDS file to erase and replace. And while I appreciate you trying to help out with what the blog lacks, unfortunately you're mistaken :D Once you’ve opened the mpq, then open the folder inside it called Battle.net and then ‘Shared’. Here you’ll see a hell load of .dds files, each representing pieces of the menus and backgrounds etc. But thanks anyway ♥ | ||
