Its only because a lot of russian guys dont know english well. So they saw something like it on russian forum and posted it here. What would you write on russian forum if you would like to vote for american player? I am sure there wouldnt be many different phrases and difficult russian words.

Well, I believe that Bratok is already good enough to compete with koreans. And the practise in the oGs train base (or whatever it's called) will help him a lot, so he'll be able to show some good games. I vote for Bratok.

I thought it was a oGs/TL thing.. But i do think he'd improve a lot and be even more motivated if he had a chance to go.

Wow, crazy thread. I really want to see Bratok in GSL, but I think he will have a lot of communication problems there due to little english knowledge :\ I also would like to see HuK, he's just the best non-korean protoss imo. And I want to see Darkforce there, though I have no idea if he wants to go to Korea.

We just want to show that there is a huge interest in cybersport and particularly in SC2 in Russia and other CIS countries (Ukraine, Belarus, etc.). We all clearly understand that decision of inviting someone to GSL is not just a matter of skill or talent. One of the crucial factors is the ability of a particular player to attract audience to the event, streams, etc. Sometimes the language barrier (yes, there is a huge problem with English language education in Russia) makes Russian speaking cybersport community underestimated. One of the consequences of this is that many people from Russia cannot engage in real discussion with you in this thread By "voting" here we just want to show that Russia and CIS has a vivid interest in GSL and Russian players not only can show high results but also are supported by large and active community. Anyway I hope you can understand this and that this "voting" is not very annoying. Thank you.

There might be a few. But these posts were provoked by a thread on a few sc2 russian sites that have a huge amount of daily unique ip visitors. Its not a problem for those people to register and vote. Thats why they have 1 post. Thought there would be more posts actually..
